Does the upc code on a product match exactly the code on the receipt at Walmart when you buy it?

I shopped at Walmart on the weekend and picked up the lysol soap dispenser for the rebate however now I can not find it on the receipt. I have found two similar value items that are not that self explanatory as to what the item is and both have very similar barcodes with the only difference being a couple of extra numbers smack in the middle of the barcode but other than that the number matches the code on the product. I don't know which is which for the rebate offer and can't recall if it item was $5.97 or $6.97.
