So ive always been a person to live on less, but since jan ive had to cut way back. my dad who was my free babysitter left and i had to quit my job to stay home with my son. i turned to coupons and at 1st i felt like i was speading more, i have a small stock pile and was loosing faith as i felt i had no support in learning to get the most for my money. im very thankfull to the people who told me not to give up, so i thought i would go on a recycle walk and OH boy did i score. though im short and couldnt reach all the flyers i could see i found alot, i was also running out of room so my husband who is a freecycler found random pieces of this and that and started building me a shelf to store the items that wouldnt fit in the cuboard. he doesnt care for couponing and refuses to go shopping with me anymore but he does support me as he came home with a early mommy day gift, A claw YAY this will make it easier for me to do my paper bin picks ^_^
in the start i was extremly worried how we would be able to live on so little but now i know we can do it and with my husbands handy ways and creative thinking we are still able to make improvments on are little home without speading any money
A freecycler and a couponer We Are The Cheapest we can be!!This thread is currently associated with: N/A

Change in financial status is definitely the reason some of us start couponing...myself included. My hubby went from employed to self-employed last year - all during a time when I was already off work on stress leave. Now we are both dependent on his business.
It is truly amazing how resourceful we can become...and how using a "few" coupons can make a huge difference! We know we can live on less, and if push came to shove, we could live on even lesser (even more less?, even less?...lol! brain fart!)

It does take some time to get the hang of things, Hubby is the recycler in this house
I do the coupons, even he is using them now, and passes this to his friends,
We have helped family members get started... All he has to do now is make me some
shelving.,,,, 2x 10 planks from the back shed recycled wood lol works for me
As of 2 wks ago we now live off of one income... until the gov/t gets the uic going for me..

Wow, awesome find. My husband thought it was a silly idea at first me couponing. Now, he thinks it is great and support me all the way because I save us so much money. It's great.
