Chapstick/lip glosses - love all things bath and body works (nothing bright red or pink etc though). Not really picky when it comes to chapstick although I tried burts bees recently and definotely enjoyed it?!
Scents - fave perfume for the last year or two has been Daisy. It's a sweeter mellow scent - not really into musks or florals etc.

Our fave restaurants are a nice little restaurant called The Esquire and Jack Astor's...they have the best pasta...mmmmm!

Oh buddy, I forgot something on my list! Yeah I know, they haven't even gone out yet But I got to work and realize I have no pockets in my new pants!!! How will I carry my money to go get coffee??? Change isn't so comfy in the bra and they look at you oddly at the cash lol. So a change purse would be ever so fantastic! I don't like to carry my whole wallet as it's rather large to accomodate all the cards and things, something for just a couple toonies & loonies would be amazing!

Has anyone else realized already they've forgotten something for their list?

Romantic dinner? What's that? We do enjoy dinner at Canyon Creek or Milestones though. We haven't really figured out any of the restaurants in our new area yet (aside from Swiss Chalet and Sunset Grill which I LOVED! !!)

Morning, hubby was extra tired this morning so I have been up for 1hr 20mins for no reason, not thrilled about that.

i love Milestones! And thanks to CLB we will probably be going on a "date" there sometime in February for my BDay/his BDay/valentine's day thing!

I am constantly meeting people who I have crossed paths with in the past, or who know my family, it's so weird! So I would not be surprised at all! I mean Ottawa is not a little town, there are a lot of people here. But even now at work, the lady two desks away, her daughter plays basketball with my niece. My son's first daycare teacher knows my sister. Everyone is so connected! It's like a web tying everyone together

For us, Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, Pickle Barrel or Montanas but even Swiss Chalet and Eastside Marios is as romantic as we've gotten since DD was born and those places are good too

I just popped down to our basement to see if I had any Valentine's Day items that I had bought after Valentine's Day last year....and couldn't find a single one. Bad Natalie!!! So, future buddy, I am starting from scratch with you.

Buddy, if you were to go out for a romantic meal with your significant other, were would you go?

My hubby and I try to have a romantic meal out and a night away around Valentine's day, to celebrate both Valentine's and our anniversary (feb. 22). Last year, we were so looking forward to staying at the Inn on the Lake (where hubby proposed 9 years ago). The friday before we left I had to work 1-10, and was in a big hurry for lunch (shopping in the morning and little one taken to/picked up from preschool) so I bought some brochetta from the Superstore to go with the leftover lasagna from previous nights supper. My husband and I were the only one's to eat any (thank goodness), but did not feel the greatest the rest of the day. He was up all night with cramps and chills, and the next day, it hit me. We went anyways, in case it passed, but I spent the whole day looking for bathrooms, and by the end, shivering and throwing up in bed(king-size). I had to leave the restaurant we were so looking forward to eating at, because I had already made 2 trips to the washroom before the menus were gone. I didn't dare go in the 2 person jacuzzi. I was so dehydrated, it took me a week to get back to normal.
But we have had successful nights away, and we've really enjoyed East Side Mario's, Swiss Chalet, Frank & Gino's, Jungle Jim's and would love to try Montana's.
