The only thing lulu I really own are my headband thanks to my Halloween buddy coyote I do love these the stay in place perfectly and contain my wildly curly hair and my black running sleeves think leg warmers for your arm use them when it a bit cool in the morning of my runs then slide them down or off they had matching leg warmers for the same purpose I might break down and buy them but I was hoping they would get them in other colors besides purple. Other than that I find there stuff overpriced and impractical for running. I am a huge Nike girl though we have an outlet in Edmonton ( just not nike shoes love me my assics)

Everyone should do what works for them and they are comfortable with. I am planning a surprise get away for hubby and I on a beach somewhere very soon shhhhhhh. Eagerly hunting the net for some good deals. I want to enjoy the foods no matter where we go. I do however, have a relatively new concept of "moderation", so I think I will be ok. If I gain a few back by then I will just work it off. I am hoping to find some healthy and fun activities to do on vacation though (snorkling, water aerobics offered everyday at most resorts, hiking). My hubby started running but I really have a hard time with long distance running. I have done two 1/2 marathons and smaller competitive runs may moons ago and wow the discipline and training. I admire people who can do it.

I had some luck with Sparkpeople way back when, you can choose to put in your own food plan or they have created ones that you can use. I used their meals, I could customize some things (like I can't eat peppers so I could choose another vegetable). It worked, but it was Work! I know it won't be easy to lose weight, but I don't think it should be so difficult with counting and all that. I even tried Nutrisystem, I lost 5 pounds the first month, the second one, I just recently threw out the food. It was good, and it works, but it was hard with a toddler (he was starting solids when I was on it) since I had to feed him and he wanted what I was having. Any way! No lulu for me, too expensive, and doesn't fit

I used to love running, and started the couch to 5k last spring, but it was hard with the dog and stroller in tow! I am hoping to get a treadmill once we move and have some more space. I'd like to run again, perhaps when the kiddo is older.

Tonight the neighbor is coming for dinner. We are having baseball steaks, salad and I made everyone else fried rice. The dessert is the WW's fruit crumble I mentioned earlier. I have lots of extra weekly points left so I may indulge in a few rum and diet pepsi with a slice of lime .

So, I'm making one of my buddy's items with my very own (uncrafty) hands. I had to invent the pattern, because I couldn't find one that I liked and as it turned out, I'm not a very good pattern inventor. I'm on my third attempt at making this gift, and if it doesn't turn out I will humbly accept defeat.

Is anybody from the Parksville to Bowser area of VAn ISland? Or know it well? We are looking to relocate in about 2.5 years and plan to visit again this summer for 2 weeks...
