the real reason the Leafs won was DH got a new sweater for his upcoming b'day and wore it out while we dined, watched the game and shopped!! Similar to this one but nicer design

there were a lot of things wrong with that game last night.......a quick whistle negating the GWG by Vrbata.....whistle shouldn't even have been blown.
a million penalties in the 2nd period more or less evened things up.
Looking forward to tomorrow....will be quite an emotional game, not sure what to expect.

It's been a weird season all around IMO.......LA is out of the playoff race at the moment and looks like Nashville might be the top contender
that guy has a great voice.......maybe get him to sing the anthems at some of the games
Meanwhile back at the farm, I went to the Canucks game on Sunday.......I should have gone to last night's instead. and i have tickets to the Toronto game in March. Tickets for Sundays game vs Minnesota and last night vs Winnipeg were going for as low as $35 on Craigslist
EDIT: Just looking at CL for cheap tickets for Pittsburgh on Sat ; ) and see someone was offering tickets yesterday for last nights game for $14.99 (not that I'm complaining)Last edited by redhdlois; Wed, Feb 4th, 2015 at 02:49 PM.

Well, a Leaf fan I was born & a Leaf fan I will stay,
Even dreadful teams need a little love sent their way,
A repetitious exercise in futility must be exasperating,
Year after year a mere playoff berth goes poof - evaporating!
There's always next year or the year after that is a Leaf's fan lament,
A suffering ballad of hockey woe as I witnessed their descent,
Is it about money or talent or something that's just not connecting?
Unloading Coach Carlyle did nothing for issues with directing?
It doesn't matter, cause I'll still clap to the chant of Go Leafs Go!
