The Holocaust Survivor Memoirs Program was established by the Azrieli Foundation in 2005 to collect, preserve and share the memoirs and diaries written by survivors of the twentieth-century Nazi genocide of the Jews of Europe who later made their way to Canada. The program is guided by the conviction that such stories play an important role in education about tolerance and diversity.

I'm reading The Immigrant Years by Barry Broadfoot. It's a subject that's dear to my heart as my Dad was an immigrant and I grew up in Little Italy in Toronto.

Not yet... but soon..... The Girl in the Spider's Web
Book #4 in the Millennium series originally begun by Stieg Larsson. Sadly, he passed away several years ago (2004) and I thought that was the end of Lisbeth and Mikael. The latest book is written by David Lagercrantz. I'm not expecting it to completely resemble Larsson's writing style, I just hope this new guy doesn't completely mess it up.
