what a life! his mother is an amazing person. an interesting insight into life in south africa.

not terrifically written. there is some repetition in chapters but each chapter can be read as a stand alone.
I really like it too, I had no idea who he was before I read the book.

yes!! I thoroughly enjoyed reading Trevor's first book as well. ( being a fan and all it was so easy ) It was not until near the very end we learn just how much his mother suffered at the hands of his step father. Chilling life stories of him growing up in S.A.

Okay my bibliophile friends, I have started the new Steven King The Outsider and I am about 1/4 the way through...please tell me it gets better!

Does the pace pick up at all? I am so tempted to skip to the end...

If you skip to the end then you will be completely lost. I like it, I'm nearly finished.

great whodunnit but unresolved. it's a real shame she passed away before finishing the book and her investigation.
