Just got Sleeping Beauties by Stephen King and Owen King. It's huge. Typical SK novel of his earlier days.

I LOVE this thread!
Thanks for the Killers of the Flower Moon suggestion, I think I read a review and thought it sounded good but forgot about it. Just put it on hold.

What a chilling story! It was well written and a great story. It's terrible that it's true. 8/10

Have about 100 pages to go in "Sleeping Beauties". Then I may have to go back and read some of the older Stephen King books in my collection..(it goes back to "Carrie").

DAH! I'm only about 1/4 way through. I've been working ridiculous hours, starting at 4am, and when I get home the last thing I want to do is pick up a book. Then at night I am usually asleep by 8pm.. my regular reading time. I'm picking my way through though. Library has already come knocking, reminding me that it is due soon. Good thing I have it reserved under DS's and DD's cards. I knew it would take me awhile to get through this one.

OHHHH I am just loving this new book I am reading!!!!
It is a British police procedural/thriller/mystery but it is exceptionally well written and moving at an excellent pace.
Missing, Presumed by Susie Steiner
If you have watched the BBC series Broadchurch or are a fan of Olivia Coleman then you will love the main detective, she is written in a similar realistic and self deprecating style
