For us the membership is worth it when we buy over-the-counter meds. DH's allergy medication is $15 for 126 pills. The cheapest I found elsewhere was Walmart's house brand and that was $20 for 60
.
Pre/Postnatal vitamins and children's Tylenol work out cheaper, too.
We rarely buy food there because I can find better deals elsewhere if I'm patient and use a smart meal plan. We do buy maple syrup there - $13 for 1 litre. It's twice the price anywhere else.

I buy books there because the selection is pretty good and good prices.I purchase steaks and hambuger there.I find the meat is always good quality. I have no idea if I'm paying good prices for it though, I'm terrible knowing meat prices LOL!.
Sometimes they have instore specials(not instore coupons) that are excellent prices. I also buy clothes there are all my baby pjs were bought there as you couldn't beat the price and quality. As with everything you really need to know your price per size.
