in the past month, I have started building a stockpile. So far, I have
10 26-32 load liquid laundry soap,
2 purex with the tap laundry soap,
5 liquid fabric softener,
4 dawn dish liquid,
6 cascade action pacs
8 glade spray refils
30 Kraft dinner
60 jello
other things like cereal, pop, juice, basically anything edible disappears too fast to join the stockpile!! Too many teenagers!! grrrrr!! I need to get a deep freeze with a lock and locking cabinets too!!!! They eat boxes of cereal like popcorn!! And they LOVE to share all my 4x 6pk 710ml coke with their friends!!! I went to get one and they were gone!!! Conclusion: Thank goodness I can coupon and save cuz my teens are like vultures!!! Also, you can't have teens and a food stockpile but stocking up on the non edibles leaves more $$ to feed the teens!!
So, for now, I think my stockpile will only consist of things that are NOT edible (excluding pet food)!!This thread is currently associated with: N/A

Sounds like a great stockpile, especially all the laundry soap! I have teenagers also, so I know exactly what you mean about the edible stuff, especially the easy snacks like crackers, cookies, and cereal. Fortunately, we have a storage room that locks, so I got DH to move some of his tools out (he was thrilled about that, I'm sure you can imagine!) and he made me a whole bunch of great shelves! Now I'm just hoping to get a deep freezer in there and I'll be able to stockpile to my heart's content, since the door locks and I have the only keys, there are no teens raiding my stockpile, they only get to eat what is in the kitchen!

You have to hide these things from the teenagers

Nice stockpile
I have a teenager too. I think they have black holes in their bellies. Mine can go through a box of 32 popcorn in a week (with a little help from his sis, lol)
I am beginning to think that when he finally goes to college I will be better off financially, not worse

we're building a house and hubby will be building an attached garage just for my stockpile, at which time I can lock it up!! But here in public housing duplex, I've already lost a ton of stuff cuz my basement leaks. actually, when storms take the electricity out, the sump pump cant work. I've had that happen twice already here. so, can't stock much in the basement and no room anywhere else till the new house is done and it does not have a basement.
