Okay, so I went into our local RCSS today to shop for Soft Soap and NuPak pepper sauces, came out with nothing. I was going to get 6 softsoap and use 3 of the recent coupons from the insert to get them free plus tax, and purchase the pepper sauce. However, a supervisor intervened and said that I wasn't allowed to purchase 6, because the coupon stated, Limit one coupon per purchase. Of course I stated back, that each item is a purchase, stupidviser says no its one coupon per purchase per visit per 24 hours, not per item. Tried to explain it to her, but she was having none of it!!! Thanks for letting me vent!! I feel better, but I'm emailing RCSS head office!!

That happened to me around Christmas time at RCSS too! I had 4 coupons for shave gel that said one per purchase. I tried to explain that each shave gel is a purchase but she wouldn't listen.
And there was no $1 Softsoap when u went a couple days ago. Starting to hate using coupons there!

This is why they are called STUPIDstore (not superstore) because they have STUPIDvisors (not supervisors) who work there.
I've been calling it stupidstore for the longest time ever.Insert Clever Signature Here

I don't suppose you could have gone back in and went to a different cashier 3 different times could you? next time I'd try that before trying to talk any sense into them.

I blasted over there on Fri right after work, armed with my $2 WUB 2 Soft Soap coupons. (didn't bother to price match @ my WalMart as I had JUST been there the night before & they didn't have the exact ones.)
I was TOTALLY prepared for a fight but ended up being SO surprised!
Pretty close to the door I saw the Soft Soaps (refills) all stacked up with the $1 signage. I was quite sure to check & see if there were any limits & there were none.
Not wanting to push my luck (as I've had CRAPPY luck there practically every time I go...........& vow to never come back), I picked up 6 & went to the 1st cashier (who was a young girl).
She said: "oh, what a great price" & no problem.........rang it through - I only paid tax.
Wanting to pad my stockpile, I decided to go through again & get 6 more so I went to the same cashier & said, "it's such a good deal, I might as well get a few more" to which she replied: "I don't blame you - I would too." & smiled at me. Easy peasy - just paid the tax again.
I offered her a coupon & she gladly took it & thanked me & then I was on my way.
Totally blew me away. It went so easy...........the way it should always go.You can call me NannerPuss

Ha ha ha, I never heard it called that!! I like it and I am going to start calling it that!!
Went there yesterday after work looking for the $1.00 Softsoap refills, only had 3 coupons so looking for 6 bottles. Hunted high and low, saw the price in front of one tiny little empty row between 2 other products. Checked every aisle in the department, no other empty spots or signs showing they were in a different spot.
Obviously they did not have enough in stock for this sale, makes me annoyed that someone didn't order enough to make it through even HALF the week!!
I also don't like it when a store staff tells me there should be more coming and to try again another day - grrrr, sometimes I am making a trip out of my way the first time, don't want to come back and risk going home empty-handed a second time the same week!! This is especially annoying at No Frills as they don't issue rainchecks.

RCSS in Langley could be very bad for couponing, most of time they don't allow you to use coupons when you do a PM, and some cashiers only allow you to use 1 coupon, but this week I went & got 6 -1.00 soft soap refills without any issue. The RCSS in Surrey Guildford much better when couponing.

Stupidstore, hahaha i like thaat
went RCSS on saturday and dnt had any problem, the cashier was nice, when i go to RCSS i try to go through Express lane, usually the girls at express lane(mostly young girls with experience) knows better and they dont have to call the supervisor, i bought 8 soft soap in one transaction and did 4 transaction( i really dont like calling their supervisor for overide),
i went to 2 diff no frills and both of them had the soft soap for 1$ still, maybe you can try if you have any nofrills near
when cahier tel me this one per transation, i just buy one from them and then go to another cahier and buy the rest, really dont like to argue with the supervisors, most of them dont know what they are teling
my trade list and wishlist, check it out, tons of tearpads

RCSS is not the only store where staff interprets one per purchase as one per transaction or per customer. Sometimes you have to leave the store because it is too much to deal with. I can not wait for the day when all coupons are loaded on a card and after you purchase your items, you swipe that card and all coupons are automatically applied. No more interpretation what a purchase means, arbitrary limits, etc.

The "one coupon per purchase" means that you cannot stack another coupon against that product. Stores like London Drugs where it has been done for so long is coming to an end with this wording. Unfortunately in other provinces it makes it hard for the stores to understand this wording.

That's ridiculous. Sounds like that supervisor is a real control freak. Though I have never had a problem with my RCSS, a supervisor does have to approve it if I use more than $10 in coupons (I think that's the amount). Sometimes it's worth going through twice or on two different days, just to avoid the hassle that comes sometimes with "extreme couponing" (or whatever some people think using several coupons is).
