awesome brag! Your daughter must be so thrilled. (just tell her to watch those expiry dates). I was able to get lots of these as well for my little guy, thanks to wonderful traders too
My son has been drinking it for 6 months now, and my stockpile is down to 20L. Those fpcs cut down my grocery bill substantially! When you combine the fpcs with Wal-Mart's multi buy we were paid .26/L to feed our baby! Baboo has DHA which homo milk doesn't....good for healthy brain development!

I took advantage of a few WM multibuys as well, but they stock so poorly, most of them were so close to expiry I skipped on them.

Actually, I spoke with the doctor as well and Baboo is lacking. More fat than necessary and less vitamin D, protein, and calcium.
The list you listed shows the same amount of calcium, but thats not a fact actually, here are the correct values of whole milk versus baboo as given to me by my doctor:
Baboo has 5g of protein per serving. whole milk has 8gSure Baboo may have have equal or similar values for some of the ingredients, but the important ones are lacking. Vitamin A for example are available in many forms, but Vitamin D is one of the harder vitamins to intake, which means its super important to get it in their milk.
Baboo has 133mg of calcium per serving whole milk has 291mg
Baboo has 127mg Phosphorus per serving whole milk has 240mg
Baboo has 31 IU of Vitamin D per serving whole milk has 90 IU
Having said that, if you do give it to your child, consider a Vitamin D supplement to go along with it. You can get drops that you can add to it. Very nice thing you did for your daughter OPLast edited by JennyFromTheRock; Wed, Jan 30th, 2013 at 04:31 PM.

Agreed. Have been giving the Vitamin D drops for many months now.

The drops must taste good because he takes them with no problem!

Since everyone is discussing the nutritional value of whole milk, baboo, etc, remember back in the day when Carnation was given to children. I don't know about you guys but DH was raised on that and he is just perfect, 50 years old, looking like a 30 year old (and a bodybuilder to boot) with no side effects of the "terrible milk" he was given as a baby...
And I personally went from formula directly to 2% (not homo)... I think I was on the chubby side, lol... and I also made it out just fine.
I appreciate everyone sharing their opinions, but just a thought... lol!
