Had a fantastic multi-store shop today and yesterday, and wanted to share. Times are a bit tight, so I have to be particularly creative, and thank heavens for Optimum Points for some staples! Missing from pics is 2 x TP, 15 x pudding cups, and 1 x brown sugar.

    Combined Shop Summary
    Actual Value: $181.64 (before taxes)
Total Paid Out of Pocket (OOP): $50.10 (after taxes)
    Overall Savings: $71.6% or $131.54
Accomplished By: Combining sales, price-matching, rainchecks, coupons and use of Shopper’s Optimum Points Redemption toward groceries.

    Sobeys Today:
15 x Snack Pack Pudding (various flavours) 4 x 99g. Reg $1.99, raincheck for $1.00 ea. No coupons.
1 x 1 kg dark brown sugar. Reg. $2.79. Paid full price.

    Actual Value: $32.64
    Paid OOP: $17.79
    Savings: 45.5%

    Sobeys Yesterday:

8 x Aylmer Accents Tomatoes. Reg $2.39 ea. Feature price $1.99 AND BOGO. Coupon $1WUB2 = $0.49 ea.

    Reg Value: $19.12
    Paid OOP: $3.96
    Savings: 74%

    Walmart:
8 x Highliner Fishstocks, 350g. Reg 5.74. PM to GT $2. Coupon $1 = $1 each. Not that they weren't going to PM because it wasn't exactly what was in the GT picture, but agreed to this once since the ad was a bit flexible in description.
    1 x Kraft 380g Habanero cheese. $6.97 reg. Sale $5.97. Coupon $3 = $2.97.
2 x Great Value chocolate chips $2 regular vs $3.47 reg for Chippits.

    Actual Value: $54.73
    Paid OOP: $16.97
    Savings: 69%

    Atlantic Superstore:
    2 x Yoplait Tubes. Reg $3.49. FREE with 2 x FPCs.
4 x Imperial 1 lb Margarine. Reg $2.99 ea. Raincheck used for $1 ea.
    1 x Jello Refrigerated desserts, 6pk Dulce de Leche. Reg. $3.29, sale $2.49, coupon for $1. = $1.49

    Actual Value: $22.23
    Paid OOP: $5.29
    Savings: 76%

    Shopper’s Drugmart:
    2 x Milk @ $3.15. Reg $3.99
    2 x 500g Cheese $4.49 reg $7.99
    2 x Royal 12 dbl rolls $4.99. Reg $7.99
    1 x Baby Tylenol 24ml. Reg $9.99, sale $8.99, $3 coupon = $5.99
1 x store brand white sugar. $2.99 reg. $1.99 sale.

    Actual value: $52.92
Sales & Coupons Value with taxes: $36.72
Shopper’s Optimum Redemption: $30 (Essential one big $30 coupon over the entire purchase)
    Paid OOP: $6.09
Savings: 88% (Keep in mind the Actual value is before taxes, and the Paid is after taxes, so there are probably a couple more dollars saved there too)

I am in Nova Scotia, but found them in a Sobeys store on a tomato display - they were in a booklet holder stuck on the display - the booklets have recipes in them, and the coupon is at the back. They came out shortly after the VH booklets, which we just got in our area a couple of weeks ago.

There are also coupons for save $0.75 WUB2 on these tomatoes in the VH Coupon Booklets, if you happen to have some of those. Makes them $0.62 each, still a great deal since they are regular $2.39 or feature price $1.99 each.
