If you don't get any results from the allergy test, ask them to send you to a specialist, as the allergy tests are very general, and sometimes you need a more in-depth investigation to hit the thing causing your hives. I agree about the mold. My mom was so allergic to penicillin that she wore a medical alert bracelet, one more dose the Dr. said would kill her. We had a mold problem in an apartment we were renting, and I just remember her being all red and swollen, and the ambulance taking her out. That's when they told her she needed the medical alert bracelet. So, maybe if the trailer is old and leaking, that could be your source. Great idea to keep the food and chemical diary. Any air fresheners??? The diary will definitely help Dr's pinpoint the source. I developed an extreme reaction to gluten when I was in my early 40's. Back then it was extremely hard to diagnose as it was mostly confined to European countries. I went through hell, but a specialist caught it, and the fact that I was celiac and lactose intolerant, just out of nowhere. I hope you find the answer soon. Keep us up to date, please.

I'm worried its mold or that I've developed an allergy to my cats also could be stress related (going through a lot right now) I'm going to see about getting the air quality tested in my trailer, and see where that gets me.

Sounds like you're having the most reactions in your trailer? You mentioned the trailer used to leak but has since been fixed, it's worth having it checked out even if you can't find anything. Possibly ask the landlord where they leaks were and start in those areas. Could be growing anywhere and causing you problems. Benadryl would treat the symptoms, but if you can't find the source it will just keep happening. My major concern is it is mold, it could be toxic black mold, and things could just keep getting worse and worse..

The reason I mention it is that people who are allergic to Penicillin based drugs (Amoxicillin) are often also allergic to mold.
I was going to say the same thing... mold is very dangerous!

    UPDATE:
Still do not know what the cause of the hives are, but the doctor is sending me to an allergy specialist to get testing. My food diary has been doing nothing for me so far, and the doctor did not believe the hives are stress related.
