A few months ago my loving husband had built me these wonderful shelves in our pantry in the basement.
You can see clearly the floors are not finish and still needed a bit of cleaning before putting away all my stockpile that is waiting in boxes.
It's always very chilly down there and makes the perfect spot for putting away all my shopping items.
As you can see before the new addition of shelves, I only had a few shelves tucked into the corner (the ones with items on them already).
Many of my extra items had to go into boxes in our un-finished basement, but now I have alot more to work with!
Let's see how fast I can fill up all those shelves!!!

This is a very old house, 25 years old with only 1 owner before us teh ones who built it. This section of the basement is seperate from the entire basement. I'm quite sure it was meant to be a cold cellar and just wasn't completed.
When he was building this I had to wear my winter jacket every time I went to see the progress down there. In the summer it's the place I'm going to be in the most since it's really nice and cool down there.
He has even placed a telephone for me
, because he just knows how I loove to tidy up my shelves after shopping!
