Pumpkin's Pantaloon Package Train

I was gong to make these, thought I had all the stuff but SOMEONE used up the little bit of cream I had left! Doesn't that drive you crazy?????

Chocolate Truffle Triangles
Yield : about15 triangles
Ingredients
⅓ cup butter or margarine, melted
1 ⅓ cup chocolate cookie crumbs
¼ cup sugar
⅓ cup heavy cream (35%)
7 ounces semisweet chocolate, minced
1 ½ tablespoon prepared coffee
¼ cup of sliced almonds
1 ounce semisweet chocolate, melted
Directions
Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease an 8 inch square pan and line it with enough parchment paper to make it overhang on the sides.
Step 1 : Crust
Combine the crumbs with the sugar. Add the butter and mix well. Press into the pan and bake for 8 minutes. Let cool.
Step 2 : Chocolate
In a saucepan, heat the cream until it simmers. Add the chocolate. Mix until the chocolate is melted then add the coffee. Pour on the crust and add the almonds. Drizzle the chocolate on top.
Refrigerate until firm.
You can freeze the triangles or keep them in the refrigerator for until 2 weeks.

wow! That's the last time i don't read the thread for a few days.... major catch up on reading! Been very busy planning Beausejour's 1st Annual Wedding Show and crating many bouquets to display.... It's tomorrow and not close to being ready! Which means..... I need to get the hell off the computer!

So my landlady has returned my rent cheque (via my mailbox) without an explanation! I have re-submitted it into the rent box. Called the tenancy board again today, & they told me I am within the law & their rent increase is illegal as they didn't give us 90 days notice & they must re-submit new notice thy gives us 90 days notice. So the longer she refuses to take my rent the longer before my rent goes up. I asked what do I do if she won't accept my rent money. After 14 days she has to either accept or give me an eviction notice, at which point I can file an appeal which I will win because of everything mentioned above & pay the rent to the board!

I am not the only tenant in the building doing this, so they are just creating a headache for themselves.

BUDDY.... 2 items arrived for you today - one most wanted and one I went out on a limb on because it's so cute. My box from Well.ca arrived Tues. so things are coming together nicely. My kids are also workng on a unique project for your family - I think it's amazing and I hope you do to... sometimes these things are better than the bought things.

I have 3 tax returns done and filed, mine and hubby's almost done - I have to go get my prescription receipt and a few others but the good news is we will be able to afford a puppy lol! We were hoping part of the tax return would cover it and we wouldn't have to scramble lol


Oldest DD just came up to me with a blanket cape on and said in a low voice (talking about her sister) 'She thinks she is the only person who can rock a cape but I know I can too'
I started laughing of course so other dd came out to see why - so we told her and she said She does rock a blanket cape the best and that 'the queen of england would come up to me and say damn you be wearin' that cape fine'

I don't have the heart to tell them that it is ARMYGIRL who rocks the cape.

i have to take my poor Tummy into the vet they have to do a little surgery I am scared I told DH he has to take him because I am such a suck he is my baby. I have a secret I have a bike trailer that I put my dogs in so we ca bike out into the country so they can run around I'm the open fields, I look insane biking down the street with 2 pug but hey what you going to do!lol

I love it - when we first found out Zoe had Cancer (in her wrist so walking was hard) that is what I wanted to get - a bike or jogger stroller to take her places in ... I know of a lot of people with your secret

They are short snouted so I would rather get them there and then let them run around then have them tired when we get there. And I love my bike so much I get exercise doing it!

Well, can you imagine I am not yet finished my package LOL. I did however buy more items . One more adult based item to that am still on the fence about sending...you never know just how good a sence of humor/adventure a person has until you send them something to ummm kinky .
