Well now that I caught up on most of the posts it's time for me to do some actual work considering I'm at work..... If only my boss knew what I do during the day...... Oh wait...... I AM THE BOSS!!!!! Bahahahaha! I cannot be fired!!!!

This happened to one of the girls I work with, they had a claim and than were dropped. I would look for a new provider ASAP as they are required to ask if a previous provider has dropped you and it can cause issues getting a new provider.

Rant of the day, some of you know that our house flooded last fall, So, because we made a claim on our house insurance when this happened, our insurance provider will not renew our policy. Ummm, what is insurance for?WTF is up with this - they love to take your money but when you have to use the service you are paying for they drop you? Sounds like crooked business to me.

So I just typed out a long vent about my craptastic week and how everytime I turned around something else went wrong... but SC ate it so I guess I wasn't supposed to share


Here's hoping this week will be better! I am super excited as I have an overnight date night with hubby on Friday and we are headed to a city 4hrs away Should prove to be a great night! Thanks Priceline for the amazing hotel deal!

I'm back and starting on page 32. so 10 pages to catch up on but I am determined to do it tonight! =)


trip to the states was wonderful and I am completely done my buddy's package except the craft. that will be my goal this week. =)


and I went to the naturopath today....sad news for me...I have sensitivities to wheat, soy, dairy, and rice!!!! all of my favourite things!! =( no wonder my stomach has been hurting so much over the past five years. sigh. anyway. I'm feeling bummed. I'm going on a new diet starting march 1st. so the next few days I'm eating whatever I want! haha. on top of that, I have really really low iron and my thyroid is messed up which is why I haven't been able to lose weight the past 6 months!


the good news is that with this new diet, my naturopath guarantees I'll lose weight because it will fix some of the things that have been bothering me. so it's going to be a winning situation in the end but I'm sad to lose my favourite foods. =(

it sounds terrible but doesn't mean that you will never be able to eat it again. I had the same thing 5 years ago minus the rice but plus corn which by the way is in everything! The best thing to do for now is eliminate them for your diet. Once your body heals and gets back to normal (about 6 months) you we be able to eat them occasionally without discomfort.


I went to another naturopath who was able to fix my sensitivities so that I can now happily and frequently eat them again. It was expensive but worth it. Not all naturopath do this treat, actually very few not sure why. It sounds really crazy to explain so hubby and I have taken to calling it voodoo rather than explaining it to people. But basically it's a ying & yang effect, this machine thing that hooked up to a computer doesn't hurt, in fact it feels like a nice massage. Your body give off a signal *negative* as you have a sensitivity to it, this machine thingy tells your body it's *positive*. You can only do so many food components at a time, than you can eat the ones you just treated for 24 hrs then after the you can eat it again. Crazy I know, but it's been 4 years since I did it and I can eat food again! I will find you the website of the naturopath I used & maybe you can find someone similar out your way!

Favourite Books: Right now I'm building a children's book library so I have some real wants. I want the "Miss Nelson is Missing" Trilogy!! Hm...but I'm pretty specific about the books I think I listed one book that I really want right now.








I think I prefer the same as you. Just simple cotton or cotton spandex...I want something comfortable.

Well, fun times. First periid after baby is HELL. Not impressed.


In other news, don spoke w his boss and the company is paying for us to fly out. Don came home on friday and came to the realization that he couldnt leave me alone with alexa for 3 weeks. I believe his exact words were, "I can't leave you alone with her that long, you'll hate her by the time I get home." Ummm...no Sherlock! I can be a good mom during the day because I know at 6ish pm I'll be able to pee without being on the clock! My patience has limits. Single parents...I have NOTHING but respect and admiration for you. You are miracle workers. So, dlee, I'll be in your neck of the woods mid-March 10th week onwards.


My mission this and next week is to sort out my march 31 expiries, buy a deep feeezer, and buy up what I need with my March coupons asap. I've got some serious shoppig to do

i feel your pain. I got my first at the cottage and even though I bought supplies with me I had to go into town to get heavy duty supplies.


Side note - I have 6 months of EXTREME PMS after that! It's gone now,but I didn't tell hubby that. And now use it to my advantage everytime I get my period.

Just popping in to say Hi

Been busy with work and Jackson of course. He had a fever of 101 over the weekend and it was his first time having Tylenol, poor little guy. He's not "sick" though, so it must just be teething or a reaction from his recent immunizations. Also, yesterday we went in to the doctor's office for our test results from the blood screening for down syndrome, trisomy, etc. Unfortunately, it did come back as a "screen positive" for down syndrome, but the chance was 1 in 340 or a 0.3% chance of the possibility of the baby having it. So......I was a tad bit upset to hear that initially, but it's only a test saying it's a "possibility" not a test that says for sure baby could have it. We never got the test done with Jackson and he is a completely healthy and smart toddler, so I am not too worried about it. I have my ultrasound on Friday and lately, I've been feeling baby kick now, which is nice

Sooooo i'm pretty sure that Pumpkin is sneaking her famous VWT trains when I'm not online and "shunning" me from riding because I didn't ride this Pantaloon train..... BAHHAHAHAHA I'm just bugging you Pumpkin!! You are a popular lady though Miss and your trains fill up SO fast! One of these days....
