Hi Everyone!

I just read a great brag that turned into a negative thread that resulted into being deleted.

I'm a 21 year old newbie to couponing. I love reading these brags!
Bragging on here is supposed to be a great experience. I know when I posted a couple of brags, I remember feeling so happy with the great deals I found and with fellow SC'ers congratulating me, made me feel even better with my new found love of couponing.

It makes me really sad when people become negative and attack others because of the contents of their brags. We are all entitled to our own opinion. A lot of us here are very opinionated. However, there is absolutely no need to make snide.. malicious.. negative remarks. We should be able to post our brags without being afraid of others attacking us for it.

We are Canadians! We are known to be the nicest, most polite and insanely awesome people!

When I found this site, I completely fell in love. I was amazed with how much information I learned from reading fellow SC'ers brags, threads and the advice people had given me. I learned how to really stretch my dollar and how to save a whole lot of money.

I'm also glad that I can help and pitch in the house. My Mom and Dad are so happy that the grocery bills isn't sky rocketing anymore for our family of five!

This is an awesome site.

I'm very thankful to everyone on this community.

This brought tears to my eyes. What you said is how Sc should and will be! A positive friendly enviroment! Were here to share deals, coupons learn how to save money and better ourselves. I dont want to come here and be stressed out. Lets all be positive and keep those brags coming!

I love reading brags too. I tend to leave a nice comment to encourage and congratulate the people that get those awesome great deals.

SC is an amazing community! We shouldn't be negative to one another. Were a small community that should be proud of each and every one of us for being able to save money and live better lives!

We should keep positive and encourage one another. Brag away!

For those that are negative, it is really just a waste of energy. I mean you can spend that energy by clipping more coupons and looking up deals like I always do! Lol.

My boyfriend asked me today, "Are you a Smart Canuck?"
I replied, "Yes, I AM." Loud and very Proud.

I couldn't agree with you more, i've been a smartcanuck for about 2 1/2 years now, but lately i don't even read the brags as there is so much negativity with how people choose to use their coupons.

Bravo *applauds*- you are absolutely right!! We all needed to be reminded of this. I have never felt more welcome on a forum as I have in this one. We all need to treat each other with respect, and no one should feel put down or left out. This site is amazing- let's keep it this way!!

I love the brag section too. I used to collect coupons before, but never really understood how to use them effectively, especially how to get things free. The brag section has saved me as much money as the coupons themselves.

Lets keep it nice and continue to help each other!
