Let's just say she meets up with him and leads him back to the prison under the premise of getting him in there because she knows a back entrance. Then she holds a gun to his head leads him to Rick and Michone kills him. Redemption !!!!!! She get back in the group and all is well.

I don't think the Gov'ner knows about Carol other than maybe seeing her defend the prison when he attacked.

she did leave without a fight. which is weird. she just let rick load her up and drove off. no arguments.
she's got something up her sleeve. or maybe she's thinking her knight Daryl will fight to get her back in and will go somewhere that Daryl knows he can find her to bring her back.
going to be interesting to see Daryl's reaction.
