Well my pal got me watching a couple episides of season 3 of this show, I watched all of season 1 this weekend. I LOVE the technical skills involved in how this is filmed. It is nothing short of brilliant!
That said, watching season 1 has made me decide I am going to brush up on my survival skills. Imagine when/if the world lost pretty much all power... there will be zombies

Episode 1, season 4 - 7/10
I dont understand the whole Rick on his own in the bush with that sole survivor???
That part made me scratch my head and wonder what it was about?I can't profess to understand God's plan. Christ promised the resurrection of the dead. I just thought he had something a little different in mind.

Not sure about this either. We already know what the 3 questions are, we know everyone now has to do stuff they never would have before.
eta - Maybe it was to make Rick think how he was close to going over the deep end like that? Thankfully we didn't have to put up with Lori's head in a box

For those who have read the novels, is there a logical explanation about why the zombies have not starved to death yet since we are going on nearly 2 years now?

maybe they eat each other once they expire?
don't they also eat animals? they are mammals.
the whole pig dying thing is interesting.
pigs and humans share similar internal makeup so if the pigs are getting sick and dying, does this mean the humans too?
the death of the kid at the end of the episode makes me think there's a connection.Last edited by electric_viking; Thu, Oct 17th, 2013 at 01:20 PM.

I'd find an island with 20-100 acres on it, wish fish in water, make sure I have a boat that can be taken to town sometimes because gas does expire after a couple years and you're not going to be able to drive.
I know it sounds mean, but I would enforce a class system and keep the leadership/skilled people away from the unstable people. Reason is, in bad times, there are some people who will not adjust. THe others can slowly turn it around in time.
The Island would be run with laws, if you don't like them, you can leave.
