Good Morning..
Just curious.. Have both of above plants, and know neither one take very much water.. But when I do water them.. they always seem to take a turn for the worse.. What is the best time to water them, and how much water should I give them.. Any idea's..

For the aloe try this website:

And I pinched this from Wiki for the jade:
As a succulent, C. ovata requires normal watering when the soil is dry in the summer, and very little watering in the winter. Overwatering will cause it to lose its leaves (it is easy to identify over watering by the characteristic crinkling look of the fallen leaves) and eventually the stem will rot away. Though it can survive over watering, it is best to keep it on a 10-20 day cycle in the summer, and even less (up to a month dry) in the winter. Letting the soil dry between waterings is essential for a healthy plant.

I have an Aloe Vera plant as well and it's huge. 2 feet tall, and it's not doing so well either.

It is not how much we have, but how much we enjoy, that makes happiness.

For aloe, I water infrequently, keep in a sunny window and don't do much. My Mum had one for 10 years and it had a "baby". She still has both plants, a decade later.

Another thing to consider is the soil it is in; a very sandy soil is much better than regular potting mix.
