    Hi,

I just bought a new car and am looking for an air freshner that lasts. In the past I have used those pine tree ones that you hang on the rear view mirror as well as Bath and Body Works scent portables. Nothing has a scent that stays.

Now, my husband says not to buy any car air freshners until that "New Car" smell goes away, so I have some time.

    Thanks for the help

Maybe some people like them but the Febreeze car freshness are way to strong for me. As soon as you turn the air or heat on you get this blast of overpowering scent, they actually give me a headache and I feel like I am breathing in chemicals. I just put a bounce dryer sheet under a seat in the front and one in the back and change them every 3 weeks or so.
Enjoy that new car smell while it lasts!!!

I bought one from Scentsy that lasted quite some time. I like the Febreeze car plug ins but they can be too stinky for some people.

The febreze vent clips are BAD. They're so strong they give me a huge headache and make me nauseous.

I like the febreze set and refresh, I just stick one over the window vent and it blows around the smell nicely.

Also you can put a few spoons of vanilla under your seats.. chemical free but it will only last for a few days.

I like the febreeze vent clips. I just keep it on the lowest setting and I don't put it on the vents that are directly on the dash or blow directly in my face when i put the heat on. I put it on the vents on the top of the dash board that are there to defrost your side windows.
