Hope you locate a solution or can undo the update! Having an older IE browser means some websites are telling me how dated it is but since I deleted some key files almost a year ago, no update is possible. Can you say planned obsolecence for my computer?

I won't lie, I don't know anyone from the west who uses IE. For whatever reason South Korea LOVES their IE, and it sucks. I haven't used it since my senior year in high school and now I'm forced too. I have to at work and most websites won't work. I have to use it to do internet banking on my laptop and my only though is "I hope this doesn't crash 3 times before it works like last time".
I suggest Mozilla or Chrome. Do it, it's love at first click.

When I was still windows based i used chrome.
I was constantly going back and undoing updates because IE would not work properly....I could not load the Internet at all, my ms word would not run, messengers would not connect and my cam was useless.
PLUS when I went to erase my browsing history, nothing would clear off....which really worried me about privacy and clogging up space.
i have a Mac and love it more than anything now, but they are not cheap.
i would recommend ditching IE and getting chrome or Mozilla any day.Love like crazy everyday and smile.

The only people I hear about using IE are here on SC!
We use FF, didn't like Chrome.

I noticed that when I was using the my sil's laptop. She has Windows 8 on it.
Personally, I use Chrome. I dislike all versions of Explorer. Found them super slow.

ok, ok, I've bowed to the pressure and got firefox.
I will say though that up until now, I'd never had a problem with IE. And, I didn't know I was so far behind the times using it.

I used IE 9 til I got my computer cleaned. They put Google Chrome on which I hate. Reloaded my IE but it won`t allow the Yahoo toolbar anymore so I too have bowed to the pressure and use FF
