Expired on: Mon, Jul 15th, 2013Hi Everyone,
Is it better to print out online printable coupons in colour rather than black and white?
I have been printing them in black and white and have not had an issue with stores taking them.
Would just like to get some thoughts on this

I did mine in B&W too, but I have read other ppl having issues with stores not accepting them. I think it's a YMMV thing

Every time I bring in black and white or colour coupons (printed online), the cashier at my walmart always asks me if they are photocopies and gives me the dirties looks, so I just ask to speak to a manager, and they verify that either colour or black and white is fine. I think the problem lies within the untrained cashiers and not with the coupon itself.

Thanks, I have not had any issued but it just dawned on me that maybe a colour print out would stop any discrepencies. I just did not want to incur a cost to print it out.

I use b&w (greyscale) when I have a choice - and have never had any trouble with them. Sometimes you aren't given a choice, though, to change from colour.

I haven't had any B&W coupons refused- but I have had one or two people (mostly young cashiers) comment that they 'can't accept photocopied coupons'. Once I clarify that they're actually printables, and that you can see the difference in print quality, they usually let it slide. I can see how it could be an issue for some people. I've started printing my coupons in color (whenever possible) to avoid this...

Thanks everyone. I am glad to know that I don't need to go through the expense of printing colour coupons
