I've seen them in Rona and sprawl-mart. They are fun to watch.
I've kept them in the past and the main danger is over-feeding them with bits of mince. And letting them get too dry. But otherwise they are easy to keep.
Short answer : no Long answer : NOOOOOOOOOOO!

My son loved his Venus fly traps, we always could find them at this time of year at our local garden center. I tried growing them from seed once and it was not successful ...they take forever to germinate or maybe it was just me!
