It was really weird last week I came face to face with the risk of not having a job (very long story). This is the first time in 7 years I sat back scared about if I would be working in two weeks. It was very strage the first few things that went through my mind. I can tell you, no joke, one of the first things I thought was thank god my basement is full of supplies so my family can eat and we do not need groceries for a while. The title of this post was a bit humerous when I first put it up but it is amazing how true it can actually become! (From post 99)

*****UPDATE***** - I spent some time this weekend trying to better organize my "insurance policy". I put the peg board in a few weeks ago to make room under the sink.....did not really help
but love the accesability of the peg board. If it is possible it seems like the wall of TP has gotten bigger
! I took some new pics of the newer version and put them below.
After my SDM redemption I was on a high so I thought I would organize my stockpile for fun and I have taken some pics to share. This is most of it and gives you an idea of where I am at right now. I feel way more secure, in today’s economy, saving lots of money weekly and having a large stockpile to use in the event of a job loss etc. I have also seen examples in the past week of how SCr’s have used their stock piles to “pay it forward” and ROAKs and I am looking forward to doing the same.
This community is truly great and has helped my family so much. Words can not express my gratitude for all the positive reinforcement and invaluable information all of you provide each day! CHEERS!
TP Wall

There is 172 double rolls or 344 single roles!

Never need TP now
Laundry and Cleaning

Misc Boxed

Food

Peg Board

Training Pants/Wipes

Under the sink

Samples/travel size and Misc

I found the idea of the dollar store white bins from another SCr's post.

Great stockpile! And I agree, it's nice knowing you have a stockpile for weeks when it is tight!
