Well it rained more than “free” Saturday morning. The sky grew dark and the rain hit us hard but I was too busy soaking up the savings!
SDM Redemption went like clockwork. Only had to make one substitution from my original list and I got TWO SCOPs! Gotta love that!

2x Cereal
2x Deli Meat
2x Nativa Spices ($0.29 clearance!)
1x Infusium treatment
2x Arizona green tea
1x Studio Line Finishing Spray
2x margarine
1x Corned Beef (SCOP #1 saved an extra $2.99)
1x Havarti
1x Brie (SCOP #1 saved an extra $3.99)
1x romain lettuce hearts
1x petit danone yogourt
2x healthy choice steamers
2x simply food shrimp
1x 4pk tomatoes
1x juicy jumbos wieners
1x 5lb bag Russet potatoes* (*not shown in pic)
1x 1 bag of Empire apples* (18 small apples in bag -perfect for lunches!)
1x 1 bag of navel oranges*
1x eggs
2x dempsters bread*
2x milk
3x father’s day cards*
Total before coupons and redemption: $102.47
Less Coupons used: -$10
Less points redemption: - $90
New total: $2.47+1.83 tax = $4.30 OOP for 32 items!!!!! ($0.13 ea)
Then I swung by Freshco before the worst of the storm hit:
1x Pie shell
1x Nestea Lemon (with $10 worth of coupons on label!)
1x bananas – FPC
1x nectarines
After using $3.69 in coupons I spent $6.70. Not as great a haul as shoppers but we’re making quiche and I also needed more fruit!
Total day’s savings: $103.69!!!Last edited by $avvy$hopper; Mon, Jun 6th, 2011 at 11:29 AM.

I really enjoy these redemtion posts. I've never really bothered with points and learning the SDM system before, now I will! There are much savings to be had!

thanks everyone! i went to SDM the night before to check things out before making my list. the flyer didn't have too many great deals advertised so it was helpful to see what's on the shelves. I was happy to see they upgraded from white potatoes to russet! I'm floored by their produce section...actually has some good stuff which is helping to keep our grocery bills in check. If SDM built a superstore and started selling meat...well, that'd just be the day!
couldn't have done the shop though if it weren't for my mom. i was short of points after a good on the last 20x points day so she came through for me big time!
hogama, quiche is later this week...can you taste a virtual slice? LOL!!!
