Wow, i just got back from shopping in the states and couponing is so much fun there!! I got some great deals at Target and their Brandsaver and Smart Source flyer came out in the paper on Sunday so I got to use those. It' shard to get into the Canadian couponing mode again after the states makes it so easy. It's amazing that you can just hand them coupons and there is no fighting or arguing with the cashier at all...thy just take them and scan. Anyway, here's what I got...
Cutter bug spray (22oz + 25% more) $3.99 on sale $3.49
$2.00 off target printable
$1.50 off cutter printable= FREE
OFF candles $5.99 on sale $5.49
$2.00 off when you buy 2 peelie
$2.00 off when you buy 2 target printable= $3.25 each
Venus Embrace razors single pack $5.99 on sale $4.99
$2.00 from brandsaver
$5 target gift card when you buy 2= $0.50 each
Hawaiian Tropic sunscreen $6.49
$2.00 peelie
$5 target gift card when you buy 2= $2.00 each
L'oreal excellence hair dye $6.99
$2.00 L'oreal printable
$2.00 Target printable = $2.99
Rimmel Bronzer $3.49 sale B1G1
$2.00 printable facebook coupon
$1.00 target coupon= $0.24 each (retails for over $5 in Canada)
Snuggle dryer sheets (40) $1.87
$1.00 printable= $0.87 each
TGIF skillet meals $6.49 each on sale B2G1
$1.00 peelie x 2
buy2 save $4 target printable= $2.33 each
Glade automatic refill $2.99 on sale $2.66
$1.00 printable= $1.66 (retail for over $5 in Canada)
Wilkinson Sword 4 pack disposable Razors $0.97
$1.00 Wal-mart printable= FREE ($0.03 money maker)
...and many more. It was well worth the effort it took to gather it all before I went and it was tons of fun watching my totals plummit at the registers.
FYI...In Wal-Mart in the states they have their coupon policy and PM policy posted on every cash register.

Yes, sounds like a great trip. Where did you find the peelies--on the products themselves?

I would like to plan for a US shop soon too! The border's only 5 minutes from my house, and those deals mock me from here!
It seems kinda silly, but I think i'm most excited to have a cashier scan my coupons! Ohh, a self scanner would just put me over the top!
Glad you had fun, and got soo many sweet deals!!!

Excellent brag! i love my trips to the US--leaves me more money to shop on this side of the border

OMG, it is soooo much fun to watch...they don't even look at them. I just hand them a stack, and they scan away...computer just says yes or no. It's fantastic and totally STRESS FREE. I love it.
