I went to SDM today. It's Seniors day, so it's 20% off regular priced items.
I needed Nature's Bounty Osteo Biflex (an nice "seniors" type product!).
It was on for regular price at $28.99 so 20% off was -5.80 bringing it to 23.19.
THEN:
I had a flyer coupon for $5.00 off bringing it to: 18.19
THEN:
I had a coupon for $10 off when you spend $40 or more after discounts and before taxes. (So that's 3 discounts on the same product)
This is how I got to $40 or more:
Dial Men's Body Wash Started off at 3.99 on sale - (I don't know why I got a .63 "Dollar Off" discount which brought it down to 3.16 minus $2.00 insert coupon =$1.16
Colgate Total - on sale for 1.99 (Dollar off -.33) minus $1.00 coupon made it .66 (Love it when I can get 85 ml of toothpaste for under .75)
Life Brand ICARE Vitamins (another senior product) $10.29 (Dollar off - $2.05) - looks like they took the 20% Seniors discount off everything!
Crhistie Vanilla Oreo Cookies (These are the former vanilla Girl Guide Cookies - I LOVE them!) Sale 1.99 (minus Dollar off .33) made it $1.66
Febreze Air Freshener on sale for $2.99 (minus Dollar Off - .50) also minus !.00 coupon - made it 1.49
2X Pedigree Dog Treats (Marrobone) sale 2X 4.29 = 8.58 minus (Dollar off - 1.40) also minus $4.29 from b1g1 coupon (not they discounted the actual sale price - not the "Dollar off" price) brings it down to 3.79 for both (if my math is right)
Subtotal was $36.49 (after the $10 off coupon) I used this coupon instead of opting for the $10 gc because it was expiring tomorrow.
Taxes were $5.70
Total $42.19
Plus 450 Optimum Points
Plus, I bought a $50 SDM Gift Card before I began so I earned 500 Optimum Points from that. This thread is currently associated with: Pharmaprix, Shoppers Drug Mart

Is it weird that I am looking forward to becoming a senior citizen, so that I can take advantage of senior's discounts?!

Excellent deals avon! Senior discount+flyer coupon+$10 wub $40 - really nice, especially when shopping at SDM. In my area they read every word from coupons/offers and the interpretation is usually "you cannot use these now". Love your brag and thank you for posting.
