I have been saving my FPC Kellogg's that I got from the last cereal promo
when they ran out of the $5 Gas Cards for a REALLY GREAT deal on cereal
Well in this weeks Safeway flyer they have
What a AWESOME promo!! They also have on their weekend specials 12 x 1L Apple Juice for $6 ---> couldn't pass these up at $0.50 a pop
Here is what I got today
12 x 1L Apple Juice --> $6 + $0.02 levy on each = $6.24
4 x Kellogg's Raisin Bran 625g --> $6.29 x 4 = $25.16
3 x Kellogg's Corn Pops 320g --> $5.99 x 3 = $17.97
3 x Kellogg's Frosted Flakes 445g --> $5.99 x 3 = $17.97
2 x Kellogg's Froot Loops 345g --> $5.99 x 2 = $11.98
1 x Jell-o 4pk Pudding --> $2.62
Total Retail Value = $79.32
This trip seemed to have taken soooo long to accomplish with my 2 kids in tow and in the end
I was wondering why I had paid $10.21 for only the juice
as I had 6 x FPC Kellogg's & 1 x FPC Jell-o (Safeway rip open card)
My kids were about to have a melt down so I just said to the check out lady I think there is a mistake I will be back
Well when I got home I figured out that they overcharged me for
1 x Apple Juice & the Kellogg's cereal as they under valued my FPC's (rung in at $5.99 instead of 4 of them at $6.29)
So back to Safeway I go with my kids and explain at customer service, they ask me well where is my groceries,
I must have my groceries to validate that I bought the right sizes etc,
so now I am mad because I have to go home and get them.
Ok drive home, get them and go back to Safeway.
Now there is a new person at customer service so I have to explain all over again that 4 out of the 6 FPC's were rung in at $5.99 instead of $6.29
and that they owed me the difference
Lady says ok, does what she has to do and apologizes as I didn't really need to go home and get my groceries for this and hands over my money
YUP she handed me $25.16 (dropped the dime in between my seats)
With a stunned look on my face I debated for a moment of just not saying anything,
but I said no I am pretty sure you only owe me the difference of $0.30 for four boxes of cereal.
Her response --> You have been here twice now,
been told that you had to go home and get your groceries when you didn't have to so,
this is our mistake KEEP IT
I got home for the 3rd time, felt bad, called Safeway and asked to speak to the manager as I totally believe in karma,
I explain what has happened today and he told me to not worry about it either
So at the end of it today I walked away with all my groceries for FREE plus got money back
got 8 FREE Breakfast items (pins on cereal)
and in the 6 break open tickets I got - I won on 3
Remember if you like my brag please give a

Great brag Peachykeen2007! Safeway is one of the last places that really offers quality customer service. It's good to hear that they cared about their errors and wanted to make you a satisfied customer

Other stores should take note of the customer service Safeway offers from what you are all saying! Do not have one near me, but would certainly welcome this kind of customer service.

You should!! Had to get Raisin Bran as we LOVE IT but I hate paying the price of it!!
Just a heads up with the B2G2 ---> your SW Club Card takes off the lowest price of the cereal, so make sure the FPC's get punched in on the higher ones if your getting higher priced ones
