Who PM's with SDM?

Hi Everybody,

I've been trying in vain to take advantage of SDM's sales on the Great Grains Blueberry Pomegranate cereal for the last 2 weeks but every store I go to is told out of that flavour. They have the other ones but not the blueberry pomegranate. I'm getting desperate, I'm almost out of cereal and I eat this every day! Do any store like WM, RCSS and Extra Foods PM SDM? I've never tried to PM a SDM flyer before. I just want to get a half dozen boxes or so but I guess someone else in my end of town really likes them too!

I think it should be fine...they are a local store and you have the actual flyer they really shouldn't give you a hard time I don't think. All else fails you can go to Shopper's and get a rain check for the cereal.

I got a box of the Post Great Grains Blueberry Pomegranate cereal with a free Dream beverage coupon today at Shoppers Drug Mart in Red Deer.

I pm'd the 1.99 Greenworks at Walmart this morning with the Shoppers Flyer this morning with no problems at all.

I think Walmart, Real Canadian Superstore, and Giant Tiger will PM with SDM. Target might as well, but I'm not sure if they carry Great Grains.

I price matched SDM at RCSS today with no issue.

I think most stores will pricematch the SDM but I know some won't match if its a 1 or 2 day sale.

Not sure if its an option but you can ask SDM for a raincheck on the price and the flavour.

Also see if the store is ordering more in and if you can reserve them and prepay or have them order in enough specifically for you. I know most stores would be more then happy to order in some for you especially if your buying 6 which is almost a full shelf at SDM, at least at the location I go to.

I ended up missing out on the cereal deal. Super ticked about it. I had to wait until Friday to try to get some because this last week was a write off with work and other commitments. Went to Wal-Mart, they didn't have any. Had to go to SDM anyways so I looked and was thrilled they had 7 boxes. Went to cash to pay and they told me that nothing was on sale on Friday. That their flyer only went to Thursday last week because head office thought it was Easter weekend for some reason. I left the cereal. I wasn't about to pay $6 a box for it! Of course the one week I really want to take advantage of a deal their flyer ends early. UGH! Can't win...
