Same rate for me, I think this was the same rate as the last offer I got also.

@Frugalbigmama and @amira84 - Thank you. I tried clicking on the exchange points box in the email and I keep getting "error". I would assume then, once I click on it, it will tell me which exchange rate I get.
Thanks for your help.
I am really feeling left out. 😩
I wonder if they are sent out to those who "hoard" points in hopes to get them spent? Probably not. But there must be some rhyme of reason you'd think.

I dont see any reason for getting this email to me. I do not hoard points...okay..i do have 1.5 redemptions worth of points but this time this email came from pcplus guys. My email accounts are not same for my pcplus and sdm account. Plus, i have only 26k points in my pcplus account.
There is hardly any logic for me here. I think they come to office everyday, flip the coins and that coin decides what should they do. :icon_scratch:
BAHAHAHA! Good way to do business I guess 😂
I only thought because I tend to spend points pretty regularly. Like I keep some saves but I spend as well. Once a month id say I redeem. So I wondered maybe those who save up for half the year generally to redeem? But you're right probably zero logic behind it
I am a point hoarder and I haven't received an email from either.
I am a points hoarder, haven't spent in a year on one of my cards. I wonder if geography has something to do with it? Those of you getting them, do you have a PC store close to you? Do you use your PC card often? Do you live in a city/small town?
Together we can crack this code lol
I was getting an error message every time I clicked on the button, but then I clicked it on the opposite edge and it worked! I don't know if this was the issue, but doesn't hurt to try :)
Worked for me, too! It allowed me to keep exchanging so I moved all but 5,000 Optimum points to PC points!
I think this is a really good deal for exchanging to optimum points. Max exchange say 100k points which is 80,000 optimum points. If you redeem at Shoppers at the regular 95,000 redemption level ($170), 100,000 pcplus points would be worth $143. This weekend being a bonus redemption, 100,000 pcplus points would be worth $168.
I'm not ready to cash in optimum points but at the right time, I see this being a good deal.
I'm single and cashed in $200 worth of Optimum points about 2 years ago. I am STILL using the stash, LOL! I only tend to redeem on items with long expiry dates like soap and if the item is on sale or if you get points on it. I've only earned 65,000 points since 2 years ago so moving them to PC even at a bit of a deficit is great for me because I can use them on groceries.
The points exchange rate is shown once you enter your PC Plus account info/password and then the Optimum account info/password. Accounts stay linked as a result. My rate was 10K PC Plus points for 8K Optimum points.
You bet I will be working to get the PC Plus points balance back up. My reason for the exchange is that I saw a couple of things on clearance at one Shoppers that I'm keen to get without spending cash. Just need to see the points balances updated first...
I don't usually spend more than $5 on weekly or twice weekly shops at my local store. I last spent $30 at SDM in November. Sometimes I spend over $10 but the bonus points offers for dedicated dollar shopping aren't the greatest. Might use the 8000bp wus $30 offer on Friday. My Optimum points, small amounts, were being donated over the past two months. This month, the points are for me.
For pop specials, I will trek to another SDM farther away if I'm heading elsewhere for Internet that day. One of the more distant stores offers more variety in the 6pk pop specials so I have incentive to check them out.
So I just had my PC Plus card and my PC Financial MasterCard combined (as it wasn't for points) and the offers were not only reloaded, but almost as if they were reset. Every week or every second week I would get litter, diapers or wipes as one of my offers - things we use a lot of. It sucks that it looks like they might not come up now. Is it worth mentioning to them or is there nothing they can do?

RCSS shop today ( only because I was in the area, normally can't bother driving there ) but a lucky score on trial size L'Oreal shampoo for me as had $1.50 off tear pads with no restrictions on the trial size!! I redeemed $40.00 in GC's before I started shopping and then forgot to use them when I paid!! ha ha ( I think I got rattled over them scrutinizing my 15 L'Oreal coupons, but they allowed them eventually)
I also had the offer for 1,000 points for every $5.00 on frozen meat, but when I searched for some of the Flamingo things ( I had 2 x $3.00 coupons for those) the selection was limited and they were waaay crazy high in price ( $12.00 or something ) so I just PM'd 2 boxes of the Jane's Chicken ( 800 gr ) from FB and applied 2 x $1.00 coupons on them making them just $3.97 ea. ( plus made $1.00 in points )
Did pretty good on PM-ing my green beans for .99 lb, celery for .99 ea, cantaloupes .97, green onions .49 each, and gigantic sweet navel oranges .59 lb!! ( I bought so many oranges!! )
Grabbed a free Scrubbing Bubbles bathroom trigger with my $3.00 coupon ( sale was $3.00 ) and then the 500 PC in store pts covered the tax!
That's really cool. Thanks for the tip!
I had an awesome smartpopcorn deal today 800 points for each so picked it up at nbo frills and found a coupon book there with 2.00 off when you buy 2 -so paid .97 cents in the end
-oh and talked to a shoppers rep about a week ago and asked about the exchange program and she said its random -and they are testing it out and see how its going -interesting
I have 800 points for Miss Vickies....evil, just evil. I love these and am trying to lose weight.
My husband's offer had 800 points WUB Ruffles. As I had a coupon for free Ruffles + 2L Pepsi Drink, I got them free plus earned 800 points.
I had a great deal on iogo products at my superstore. They have iogo zip and iogo nano packs on for 1.67$ coupgon has 1$ off for both products that can be clipped 3* each. So they were only 0.67$ each however I also had a pc point offer for 400 points every 2$ spent. I spent 4.02$ total for the 6 yogurt packs and earned 2000 points. 4.02-2 (points)=2.02/6=0.34$ each after all discounts and points are factored in.
I saved some offers last week for this week, using the app. Except different offers from last week that I did not save have actually carried over.
Also I had saved an offer for 1400 points WUS $7. Now in my account it shows as 1000 points instead.
Anyone else had these problems?
I had an offer 2000 for every $10 spend on coca cola beverages. Any experience with this offer? Can I use this on any other flavour (sprite, fanta etc) from coca cola company or it's for only coca cola.
