I tried doing a search but it came up with over 10 pages and I couldn't find an answer on the first two.
When you have 3000 PC points/$30 spend, do manufacturer's coupons count against that amount? What about the in-store, CZ coupons that you can scan?
Before, it used to be that the CZ coupons took off the value before the tax was added. Now, it seems that it doesn't matter if it was manually entered or scanned, the tax goes on. :(
I smiled when I read your post because I asked a similar question a couple of months ago about using coupons, including FPCs and yes, those worked for my shop. Didn't use CZs tho'.
Here is the link to my after shop post and it also has my original question:

p.s. I read through 15-20 pages of the thread looking for an answer before I decided to just post my question :) Maybe it's time for an FAQ thread like we have for SDM!

I'm wondering if the CZ coupons work like the SDM in-store peelies and change the total on the sticker price. I purchased some diapers this weekend with a CZ coupon and didn't get any points at all even though I spent over $60 in diapers. The points offer was get 1,000 points per $10 spend on diapers.
I emailed PC Plus Saturday afternoon and still haven't received a response. I'd call in, but I have laryngitis from a cold I'm fighting.
I called in today, now that I have my voice back, and the CS rep said it was because I used a coupon that I didn't get the points. She said if there was a minimum spend of $30 it has to be before taxes, after coupons, and after all discounts as it states in the points offer. She's a new trainee and she said that is what it states in all their minimum spend offers and what she's just been trained on.
Maybe this is a new rule? My shop was last Saturday, August 13th, so I guess we'll hear more if it affects anyone else. :(
My CZ coupon was also scanned and not manually entered, so maybe this makes a difference as well.
I called in about an offer I had loaded to my card and did not receive points for. They didn't round up for the points as they sometimes do when you call in, and they also flagged the offer as used so it disappeared from my account. The CS rep also thought it strange that she could see my email inquiry from Saturday and that no one had answered it.
Is there something going on? When I called in, I was the 12th caller in their automated system.
Have spend $40 get 4000 pts. Best offer I've had in quite awhile.
sigh.....again I got 100 point offers this week for about 12 things. Pass.
Received 600pts offer for each Raspberries purchase.. don't eat raspberries. Why don't they give me offers of fruits we like....
^ I think that's a shoppers offer :)
That's funny
I got 7500 wus 75 which is pretty much the same 10% but compared to sdm where we would get 18500 it really isn't all that good at all

I got the 10,000 pts wus $100. Normally would spend that but not in the next few days there!:(

I got 5k on $50 and I always let that one go because NF is too far to carry $50 home and Zehrs is too expensive to be able to find $50 of sale goods at once. sigh.

Just wondering how long it usually takes to hear back from a point inquiry/missing points. I took advantage of the 1000 points for every $3 Old El Paso. I was credited 2000 points for my tortilla bowls, but should have got 8000 points for my taco kits and got nothing! Last time I was missing points I heard back within the hour. I submitted this on Saturday and have heard nothing. Thanks in advance.
@pocketchange : I posted about my experience on post #7416. I submitted on Saturday and still didn't hear by Wednesday.
Thanks. I guess I will need to phone.
Update:
I submitted my online inquiry Saturday evening, and according to the CS rep it hasn't been 24 hours yet because they are closed Sunday. I have to wait until it has been 24 hours to call. Also, because my dh is technically the "primary" cardholder, they won't be able to discuss it with me, after the 24 hours he will have to call.
I just purchased 4 taco kits and no points! Did an inquiry so will let you know how that goes!!
Okay, my dh just called PC Plus. This time we were told it takes at least 48 hours for the online points inquiry, and Saturday & Sunday don't count. (even though they usually respond to me on Saturday) After waiting on the phone for more than 10 minutes (he was #12 in the queue) he was told because we filled out the form online, they cannot help us over the phone. I'm going to be persistent about getting my points owed.
Actually when you call next time, don't tell them you have filled out the inquiry form online. You tell them you are missing points. It happened to me and I called after filling out the form online. They gave me the missing points right away when I called. then they gave me the points again when they processed my online inquiry.
When I called in, the rep could see my online inquiries. The frequency of your calls is also logged, even if you call in to help someone else's account.
I finally got my missing PC Points. I got an email today which was apparently sent at 4am this morning. I believe they have changed their system recently. It took longer to hear back from my online inquiry and when I look at my transactions it credits my points and lists the actual offer, in the past when they have have to add missing points it is listed as "goodwill". Just glad to get my points!
