I got 200/$1 on oranges and 200/$1 on clementines and they will stack on the $4.44/5lb clementines at Zehrs so woohoo, would earn $3.60 on two crates = $2.64 ea

OK, from what I've been reading, looks like it's a good idea just to use up all of your points ASAP to avoid getting them stolen.
The thief may be adding the card to their phone but that doesn't mean that your card couldn't be compromised. They are either guessing card #, a glitch in the system or a hack - either way, you have an online account to load offers, you can still be at risk. Looks like they make a new card, so not sure that even setting cards to earn only will help since the new card can be set to earn & redeem.
You may have a slightly easier time proving it wasn't you redeeming with a phone, but looks like PC has given points back to everyone involved anyway
They just need login info. Whenever the app is downloaded, you login with your username/password (not PC Plus card number) and you will get a new PC card number generated that is linked to your PC plus card. So checking what cards are linked in your profile is the key.
I got 7500 for every $75 spent - but I don't remember the last time I actually spent $75 at a grocery store at once so likely not using
Looks like they have added extra security when logging in...have to hit not a robot and click on images say that show a storefront or a river etc. hopefully helps a bit.
The blog now has a post about the stolen points issued and helps people try to protect their accounts.
I was just finally able to get into the settings on my PC Plus account, I needed to be in full website view and not mobile. Anyway, it says there are 6 iPhones and 1 e Commerce on my a ccount. I changed everything to earn only. I'm not completely certain how to know which one is mine. Only one iPhobe has a name, but I don't know if it is my current phone or my old iPhone that I replaced a year ago and I still own. Should I just remove them all and then log in on my current phone again? What is the eCommerce one?
Looking at all the comments about people having phones, and cards on their PC Plus account that they know nothing about got me thinking. Wouldn't it be a good idea if PC Plus set their software so that it emailed the account owner whenever a new card/device was added to the account? The new card for that device should be set to add points only, until the owner of the account had confirmed that they know about the new card/device being attached to their account. This should be done from the email sent to you ... because if the user can log into your PC Plus account to add a card, the account isn't secure (but the person stealing does not have access to your emails).
I called PC yesterday and asked about the issue of stolen points and how I can protect my card because there was 4 different iphone, ipod and some other device attached to my card. was told that every apps have a different bar code number.I have the app on my tablet and ipod. so I deleted all the others unknown numbers. Was also told by the rep That I should change my password completely. When I go shopping I used the plastic to swipe to get my points. just curious the people that lose their points were u using a smart device TIA
