I LOVE the PC Plus points program!!! On Sept. 29 when boneless, skinless chicken breast went of sale I stocked up big time! I bought 7 club packs which each included 4 huge chicken breast complete with the filet ranging between $7.00 and $9.50 each. My total bill came out to $63.11 taxes in. I redeemed 60,000 points making my final bill for 28 chicken breast $3.11. The best part is I had a personal offer of "spend over $40.00 in store and get 4000 points". So I actually made .89 cents!!! I came home cleaned them all and individually wrapped them. I also filled a large Ziploc freezer bag with all the filets which will be great for stir fry's. :)

sorry, i need clarification...
i get they offers PC Plus but my understanding none stores in BC that participate
am i right?
i have a great offer spend $40 get 10000
Saw a sign at cash register at RCSS in London for PC points available November 19th. So excited as I shop there alot
Got lucky with this week's personalized PC deal -
Tropicana OJ -- $2.99 + 50% pink sticker!!
PC pts -- 1200 !!
total cost factoring in the savings -- $0.30
Just found out that the PC PLus program is coming to my local Zehrs by the end of the month.
So what will happen to PC points vs PC Plus?
Will the PC Points/cards and all be taken away? Or not you have two options!?
I think they are the same points, just Plus gets you points for certain items while Points are a benefit of their banking
I've just downloaded the app and am looking forward to figuring out how to use it!
I didn't get to use it much this week - although I had nice offers (and catered to some things I bought two weeks ago).
What I found strange was I went to buy Folgers K-Cups (on sale for $7.99) plus i had a special offer for 1300 points. The package I went to buy, had the $5 off coupon so I thought it was AWESOME. The cashier peeled the coupon and then told me I couldn't use it because it excluded Folgers. THEN WHY WAS IT ON IT IN THE FIRST PLACE?!
That was annoying.
What did the cashier do with the coupon? Give it back to you to verify the exclusion? I'd be peeved if the coupon did not come back.
Re: PC Points/PC Plus-the latter gives those of us without the PC banking or credit card an entry into the loyalty points program. So with two of you reporting notices of PC Plus coming to your stores, can I hope Fortino's gets this program too before the year ends?
Re: No Frills-if anyone else has read the article by Joe Fiorito in the Toronto Star about the food desert in St. James Town>did you notice the remarks by commenters? They are noticing that No Frills seems to be closing storefronts in some areas.
I will have to ask if this is coming in my BC store soon! Thank you for the heads-up!
Now PC's got it! They sent me offers for fresh chicken, fresh beef, deli meat, lettuce, other veggies. Just in time since the other flyers are crappyish. Guess we're going to Loblaws this week
i got spent $30 and get 6000pts. time to redeem some FPCs even thou its not no tax day.
Coupons usually mean their CZ coupons which are a discount, manu coupons are usually treated as cash
Can you apply a CZ coupon AND a manufacture coupon on the same product? I saw this as stacking, which I didnt think was allowed. Can anyone confirm this?
I took advantage of $40 for 10,000 points - has to be $40 after coupons and discounts - I double checked with them before during order.
I don't really get why it wouldn't have rolled out across all loblaws stores at the same time. I was interested at the beginning but haven't bothered using it since signing up cause everytime I tried a few months back the store said they weren't participating. Feels like the jumped the gun on this one.
Most stores try a beta project with select users, areas or stores - it is not unusual, but they seem to have more issues now then when it started which does not bode well for when it rolls out
I noticed the self checkout at my local RCSS (Grimsby) had a do you have pcplus prompt recently. I asked the cashier if the program was available in this store now, but she said they started it for employees only but that it would be available to the public soon, so if I was a pc financial customer, I should sign up. So, I went home and downloaded the app on my ipad,I signed up but the screen won't scroll down to the accept button, so I couldn't confirm my joining. Today I had an email from pcplus, telling me to go to pcplus.ca to confirm my membership....so I did. I uploaded my offers, and went to the store. I purchased quite a few offers, fresh meats, veggies mostly. When I got home. I checked the app, but it doesn't say the offered are redeemed. I thought because my pc financial cards are hooked to my account the offers would be redeemed automatically, is this correct? Or do I need a plastic card, or to lug my ipad to the store? Any help would be appreciated! You SCers always set me straight!
You can request a card once they start the program in your store, otherwise, you need your phone/iPad etc
I know someone who did a screenshot of her card on her iPhone, printed it and use it because they can't scan from her phone
So no advantage to being a pc financial customer? Another plastic card to carry...great. Lol, looking forward to using this program! Thanks for the info!
