I'm so tempted to spend the bonus points earned from GCs right away, out of fear that they'll realize what's going on and retract points...

I bought a PC gift card at Loblaws this morning and got points for it.
Before picking up the PC card, I told the cashier that I thought I might not have made the $100 minimum to get the points, then she swiped the Starbucks card in my basket, and she said "There you go, you're good!" to which I replied, "I thought gift cards weren't valid with this promo?". She said that they were considered groceries! Grabbed a $50 PC card at the checkout to bring me to $200, and got another 20,000 points. (Shoot, I should've bought a bigger denomination...) So yes, so long as you haven't used the "spend $100 get 20,000 points" offer yet, it looks like you should get the points for it.

Got the pickles last week too. Notice it said 4 L (not available in store) so I and purchased the 2L with coupon and points showed up..wish now i bought more...argghh!

I think you can get anything in the store. You can even redeem for GC's

I think is an error (in our favour).. don't expect it to continue forever.

i bought petro canada gift cards and it worked with the buy $100 get 20 000 points offer on Sunday.

i see lots of brag on this points deal and I m going to do mine tomorrow, I gathered up all my FPCs tonight and notice I actually has more than $100 worth of free stuff to be redeemed, wow! getting paid with points to redeem FPC is a very nice bonus!

FPCs count toward the $100 to earn 20k points? Can someone confirm this please?

I have to try this and even if I don't get the pts there is no loss.
I actually tried to get the 20K pts offer when I tried to buy a phone and top up on groceries, but it didn't credit so I returned the phone right away. I think phones are 3rd party so that's why it didn't credit.

Exactly what I was thinking. But I'd be a fool to not take advantage of it while it's working, especially if a cashier is condoning it.
