well an Sc'r approached me for a trade (some H.V) but didn't have anything off my wish list so asked if I would accept an IOU....I said sure but when I mailed the envie out to Scbpooh I marked on the back to enjoy her RAOK...

Peachykeen2007 picked up Iams for me and brought it to me....it was our first time meeting.....she also mentioned it to her mom and a friend and today she is dropping off lots more for a donation to a no-kill shelter I help

WTG my friend. You were sure her angel that day!!!!

I was at co-op on Sunday and was already getting some sick deals just from the sales. A lady pulled up behind me with her cart and started loading her groceries to the counter. I could hear her whisper numbers adding up the items in her cart. Then she said, looking up like she was talking to god, I hope I have enough. She was an older lady. I looked at some of the things she had on the counter and checked my coupons really quick. I took out a bunch of coupons and started to put them on her items. I look at her and said your prayers were answered this should help. She just looked at me and actually got tears in her eyes. Her bill came to a total of $237.54. After coupons and savings she paid a total of $97.17. She gave me a big hug and thanked me. She also asked if I could show her how to do this. I said sure, gave her my number and said goodbye. I'm so glad she came behind me cause she actually moved over from another line. .

I RAOKed my coupons yesterday before reading this thread.

As a sort of side note and not really related to coupons I just though I'd mention, Giant Tiger has a section where they sell dehydrated soup fixings called Peoples Pantry- veggies, soup stock, barley, peas etc, all dried. For about $20 you can purchase 4 bags of stock, (3 tbsps makes one gallon of soup) 4 bags of dehydrated veggies (1/2 cup to a gallon of soup) 1 bag of barley (2 tbsp to a pot) and a bag of split peas or lentils (2 tbsps to a pot) - $20 will make approx 40 gallons of soup- or 640 - 8 oz bowls of soup.
There are no coupons for these products as far as I know, but at approx 3 cents a bowl its a deal that can't be beat. Just something to think about as we go through our various random acts of kindness
