"Limit one coupon per purchase" Question??

I just had a question... hopefully someone can help me!

I'm pretty sure I'm right when I say that "Limit one coupon per purchase" means that I can only buy one product using only that one individual coupon. Not that it's saying that I can't stack.

The manager at my local price smart has the cashiers convinced that they are not allowed to stack coupons that state this.
I think that he is wrong, but am I wrong?? So I just say "never mind" and I don't purchase the items with coupons.

It's so frustrating to coupon stack anymore I love doing it, and have been for just about a year I just find within the last little while it's been more challenging. I feel like almost giving up, I need some encouraging words people!!

gotta be patient with them, as they are new to the stacking game....yes you are correct, but be gentle with them,as this is all new to them, and it will be a while before we have them all trained in coupon interpretation.

I shopped at SOF today and picked the line with the Operations Manager acting as the cashier. I would have thought that was the best line.. but she said that I couldn't stack the following:

- if the coupon reads "cannot be combined....."
- cannot be from same "media source" even with different UPC codes
- value of coupons cannot exceed product as they do not adjust (I figured that would be the case)

But the others surprised me... I wouldn't shop there again just to "stack" my coupons. I am pretty sure I could have done the same shop without stacking at another store for cheaper. Just my thought...

From my understanding that means you cant stack, because you cant use that coupon again with that purchase. However, if another coupon has a different UPC than you could stack it? Dont quote me on that though, im still learning and everyone interprets things differently!

The other day at WalMart, I had to do 4 seperate purchases because my coupons stated one per purchase. I explained to her that was one per item not TRANSACTION. But she still made me do them seperately. Guess it was better than not being allowed to at all.
