I know of really cheap flights to fort lauderdale in july. check out spirit airlines, they fly out of niagara falls new york. $51 return including tax. I just went on the same deal to myrtle beach, $205 for our four plus $19 each way for one suitcase.

if your going to universal, spend the extra for VIP passes.
I went to all 3 last year and I would recommend Disney and Seaworld before Universal. The reason is long line ups if you don't go VIP.
Seaworld you get a second day for free.
another possiblity to keep in mind is if you spend a little extra for a place to stay with a kitchen you will save a fortune in food costs. something like sheraton vistana

www.hotwire.com and check out the packages, southwest has a sale that started today on airfare out of Buffalo www.southwest.com and they also do packages. Buf is the way to go for deals. You will pay 12-200 per person in TAX on top of what it costs to fly from Toronto. Also, keep in mind it will VERY busy and very hot and humid. Express pass is the way to do it at Universal, extra magic hours for on site guests at Disney, Seaworld often has a promo where you buy one day get one day free. Lots of info here at www.disboards.com (disney dedicated forum but has a Universal section)Happy travels

Check out CAA for pricing on tickets before you go. Just was there last week and Disney is rising their gate prices for the second time this year. Check out www.visitorlando.com. They have tons of information and a drop in office like CAA. You can get information, purchase tickets for attractions at a discount and get discounts on all shopping malls. Did tons of research before I went to get as much for my money. Drop me a PM for more ideas or tips.

yeah I did it and once you join you also save $10 on every suitcase each way, and can use it for all people on your booking, but you only have to pay for it once. Its so cheap I am considering going down just for the weekend from the 8th to the 10th.

I am pretty sure Spirit only flys from Detroit, not from Buffalo but I could be wrong-many times I have considered driving to Detroit to fly them but I am usually able to find a close enough fare that doesnt make the long drive worthwhile...

Instead of staying in Orlando, you can stay in Kissimmee which is just a little city outside of Orlando. They have these little shady shacks that sell discounted tickets to all the amusement parks in the area. Many of them, you have to be there around noon or all the tickets are gone. There's plenty of them so you def won't miss their brightly advertised stores. Disney world, Magic Kingdom, wasn't what I thought it would be. It was actually really boring and the kids didn't even enjoy it. Seaworld was really fun for the kids especially the animal lovers. I got free VIP passes for my family at Seaworld.

If you check out hotels.com, you can get discounted hotels but you don't know what hotel is it until you pay for it lol.

You could also check into renting a home instead of staying at a hotel, I went with my family at the beginning of the year....we ended up renting a house for the same price as the hotel was going to cost....we had 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, cable TV, a pool and a hot tub....it was AMAZING. The house was HUGE, and literally the same price as the hotel. I don't know if the deals are as good in summer, though. We found ours on vrbo.com.
Open a Tangerine bank account (formerly ING ) using my Orange Key (14507658S1), deposit $100 and we both get $25! Right now, receive up to $150 in bonuses and earn 2.50% interest!
