Thread: Gay Lea Spreadable Coupons

Sorry if I posted this in the wrong section. Quick question, can you or can you not use Save.ca coupons at Safeways? I tried to redeem for the free butter today, and was told I couldn't use the coupon they only take manufacturer's coupons and they don't consider the Save.ca coupons to be a manufacturer's coupon.. This is the only store I've found this product in stock so far in my city? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

From what I know the save.ca coupons say "Manufacturer Coupon" on them. However with the Gay Lea Spreadable coupon many members(myself included) have found our coupon to be a bit odd without any specifications, mailing address, or the "manufacturers coupon" description. Is yours like that as well? That may be why they didn't accept it

Save.ca and websaver have been around for a long time now, I don't get why some stores still refuse it and act like they've never seen it before.

I haven't use that coupon yet, but I've never had a problem at our Safeway using any FPCs at all, even printed ones.

some stores don't accept save.ca/websaver.ca coupons because these are easy to make copies of if one has access to a nice photocopier. they're afraid of getting duped and never getting reimbursed.

I know I had this issue last year with save.ca/websaver/gocoupons at Safeway until I spoke with the manager - I came in with the full sheet of coupons before they were cut and then they allowed them

I got my free butter. I was told the use of these Save.ca is up to the manager of each Safeway. I took it to a different Safeway, and they took it without any problems.
