That is so nice. I have a soft spot for seniors as well. I'm so lucky that my job allows me to work so closely with them. That is so nice of you and I don't know about this couple but a lot of seniors live on a very limited income and would be tickled pink to get all of those coupons and nice treats. Please let us know how it goes.

You are such a sweetheart! I really enjoy giving my coupons to customers in the store and most of all, I love their reaction when they see my busting coupon binder. ( I really need to switch to a larger one sooner then later)

recesionisnotfun
I have been following this like a juicy soap opera! It all turned out so perfect! I was lol at you tearing up in the van, but how could you not?
The trickle down this will have ( well karma , too ) will be awesome. Their outlook has been altered in such a way that who knows, they might spread their new found couponing knowledge to other seniors who are in great need too.
The goodies that you gave were the icing on the cake for sure. Most people have a hard time accepting a free gift, they always want to return the favour somehow, funny eh?
Well that Top T thing that you were awarded was something I bet you never expected, just like these lucky seniors never expected to meet a super kind stranger at Wal Mart!
Job well done my dear! Good lesson for all of us to aspire to.

Thank you so much walkonby
That meant a lot to me. All of the wonderful posts have.
What is life if we can't help out our fellow man? Small things are free like opening the door for a stranger, helping a senior load the groceries in their car etc.
My son and I were at the hair salon yesterday, we were sitting there waiting for his turn. A lady was in a wheelchair with a oxygen tank. Her friend was done and started to push her friend in the wheelchair. My son sproinged up and hopped to the door to hold it open. The ladies looked so shocked. It's sad that such a simple thing is such a big surprize nowadays.LF: $ 4.00 off any covergirl, 2.00 axe,RLF ARMSTRONG cheese, black diamond, 3.00 gain. 2.00 Majesta. Have 5.00 walmart gc.

Children learn what they live ressionisnotfun. Proof is right there in your son.
That was why he sprang to his feet to help open a door for a wheelchair bound individual. There should have been no shock at that kindness, however that is what our self centered world has become, so society has stopped expecting anyone to be kind or unselfish.
As for the many, many posts on this thread, well when that kind of a chord is struck, it rings out so loud and clear that ignoring it is not an option.
Hey! What am I still doing up? lol
