Dear buddy, we are having terrible issues with our local PO's pickup place (package sent to me a couple of weeks ago was accidentally returned too early and another 'they have no record of) plus they have craptastic hours and are a pain to get to.

If you have tracking, can you let me know the expected delivery date through Jez/Pam/Slam so I can arrange for someone to be there when they deliver

Nope Our Wedding Anniversary is June 26th, and My Daughters Birthday is July 12th.... so nothing during the train

usually at the end we play a guessing game with hints for our buddy

We always let ppl who ask know the *estimated* or *out for delivery date* especially since some don't drive or they don't get a notice or on other trains the postman put stuff on back porches ...the rider didn't even know it was sitting there for several days !!!

Lucky you! You have a very organized buddy. My buddy is going to have to wait patiently to the bitter end.... I think I have about 5 or 6 prezzies bought for her (one is one of her top three most wanted, though)

I am at the exact same spot as you , I counted this morning and have 6, but going shopping this weekend and hope to get everything and than next week I just have to worry about the homemade part. It will either go extremely well or going to flop huge, hoping my skills are still good as, as I remember them to be last time I used them 6 or 7 years ago.

Same goes for me with my buddies "home made" gift... wheels are turning but going nowhere! I have a fall back idea just in case I don't think of anything though, so its not a complete loss.

As for my buddys home made gift for me, ANYTHING would make me happy, I'm easy to please and love surprises! And if it was a homemade food item, again anything will make me happy, in a family of 5, regardless of what it is someone will like it. I love the canning and jarred items that have been mentioned in this thread, I'd love to try anything home made like that!
