My Very First Shopping Trip with Coupons! Ingersoll/Woodstock Area

My Shopping Deals June 24th! (Paid $30.94 - Retail $131.84)

Okay folks, this was my first official shopping trip combining sales with my coupons! I'll explain to you here where I got everything, and provide links to coupons where possible.

• 2 x Scott Paper Towels (6 pack) at Independant (same deal at Zehrs) – Regular Price $7.99, on sale for $4.99. Used 2 x $2 coupons (from here) Total = $5.98 Saved $10.00
• 2 x Scott Paper Towels (6 pack) at Independant (same deal at Zehrs) – Regular Price $7.99, on sale for $4.99. Used 2 x $1 coupons (tear pad in store) Total = $7.98 Saved $8.00
• 2 x Cottonelle Toilet Paper (12 pack) at Independant (same deal at Zehrs) – Regular Price $9.99, on sale for $3.99. Used 2 x $0.50 coupons (from here) Total = $6.98 Saved $13.00
• 10 x Listerine at WalMart (we go through listerine like crazy in my house!) – Regular Price $7.99, on sale 2 for $8.00. Used 10 x $3.00 coupons (from here) Total = $10.00 Saved $69.90

Retail=$131.84
Paid=$30.94
Total SAVED = $100.90 (all totals are pre-tax)

Pretty good for my first time out, if I do say so myself! The listerine alone is a huge savings for us, and now I won't have to buy it for about 2 months!! I can't wait to see what deals are in the flyers next week!

Nicely done! I snagged some Listerine as well. Both rang up as $5.97 however, so I got a SCOP on one and the $3 coupon I used on it went towards the rest of my purchase!

Yes, at walmart, the Listerine rang up individually at $5.79, but discounting was done at the end to take it down to $4.00. I didn't see this until I got home either!! I've scanned my receipt here so you guys can see:
