Hello Everyone. There is a piece of furniture that IKEA has discontinued that I'm on the hunt for but I can't seem t find it anywhere. I don't even know what it's called to be quite frank. I think it was solid pine and people were describing it as a TV stand/coffee table. I believe it was part of the Leksvik line. I also think there was a brass-looking handle on one side. It looked like a chest almost. It was a tad bit taller than the regular coffee table and perhaps more narrow as well. If anyone could tell me what this item is called, I would really appreciate it. I've tried to google images and this is the best photo (and only) I could find. Thank you very much!

I haven't seen anything with an opening like that, usually the opening is under... The chests with handles on the sides are called blanket boxes/chests.
I think it would be a sofa table - they are a bit taller and narrower than a coffee table. Sometimes also called a hallway table.

QUESTION: does anyone know what it looks like from the back? Sometimes the back of these TV benches just have a piece of plywood so it's necessary that you have them up against a wall. Is the case with this piece?

Wow peachykeen that's impressive! Do you also stalk the ikea furniture hack website
I have 2 runner rugs (narrow and long for hallway) that I bought from ikea a year ago, beige and chevron colour twine material, they were inexpensive, i think $29.99 but not sure, def less expensive than others same size and similar look. I would like to get one more, but discontinued. Do you happen to know what they were called? I cut out all tags
Edit: I found it, it was called HESSUM. Apparently it was very popularran out of stock and replaced with higher priced but crappier runners.
