Swag Bucks Questions...

Hi,
I don't know or seem to find where the discussion area.. so let me know where i can move it.. thanks

but i am planning to join Swagbucks... because airmiles toolbar is no longer useful...
if someone can tell me how it really works... how many swagbucks are a dollar... like X amount of swagbucks equals $ canadian dollars..
someone who can help me out the most i can use their referral link...
i know u can redeem for gift cards.. but which store gift cards.. i dont want amazon.. are there other ones... also how do i earn points..

Hello. To start off you prob know that Swagbucks is a search & win site. It's a great way to earn many rewards including gift certificates and other prizes. Use swagbucks for searching just like you would use google or bing.

SEARCHING
You can search every 6 hours and you will usually win 7 to 11 swagbucks. Ususally you can win at least 3 times a day.

REFERRALS
This way is hard to get, but easy to earn once you have referrals. a referral is someone who joins up because you invited them. You can put a referral link in your signature like I did. With referrals every point they win, you get too up to 1000. So if one of your referrals earns 10 swagbucks one day, then you get that 10 swagbucks as well.

SWAG CODES
These can be found in many place such as Swagbucks' twitter, their facebook, or in the swagbucks blog. To make sure you get the codes try checking smartcanucks every two hours or so. Hints for the code can be found on the smartcanucks Swagbucks thread, the link given at the bottom.

DAILIES
These are things you can do everyday to earn yourself 5 swagbucks. They are:

Polls-1 swagbuck and if you send them a question, and they use it you will get 100 swagbucks.

NOSO- 2 swagbucks, What you do is just skip to the end and enter the captcha.

Survey-1 swagbuck, just checking the page everyday will give you one swagbuck

Toolbar-1 swagbuck, using the toolbar will you give you 1 swagbuck, you can dowload it from swagbucks

SURVEYS
Signing up for surveys, is a great way to earn swagbucks. Surveys range anywhere from 38 swagbucks to 250+. You usually don't get surveys everyday but when you do they are rewarding.

TASKS
Tasks usually take up a lot of time, and for me aren't worth it. They might be great for you and they usually award 20-60 swagbucks.

SPECIAL OFFERS
You can click through the links to see if there are any you're interested it. They usually credit immediately. You can earn anywhere from 1 swagbuck to 1000+

GAMES
You can earn 10 swagbucks a day by playing games. You will be awarded 2 swagbucks for every 2-3 games you play.

SWAGBUCKS TV
You get awarded 3 swagbucks when your meter fills up, which is every 10 videos. You can earn a maximum of 75 swagbucks a day using videos. the animal videos are usually the shortest.

Those are all the great ways to earn points on swagbucks. After a couple weeks, you will really start to see your points add up, and then you can redeem them fro some great prizes. I've been with Swag Bucks for several years now and love it! I have probably received at least $400 worth of stuff, if not even more than $400 (lost track). You just do searches and sometimes you will Win Swag Bucks in different amounts. Fridays, are the BIG BUCK win days where you can win more than usual. On some Fridays i have won up to 27 Swag Bucks. Other days, you can win 8, 10, 12 Swag Bucks ect. Always different amounts.

The $ CAD to swagbucks (commonly referred to as SB) ratio varies - depends on what you are purchasing in the Swag Store, generally the best bargain is 450 SB for a $5 Amazon.ca card. They offer Barnes & Noble cards, Lands End, Overstock, Home Depot, CVS cards, Starbucks, Target, even Paypal. $5 Paypal will cost you 700 SB, so you can see the Amazon card is the best deal.

entering tournaments is a gamble, since there's a good chance you end up with no points - most here play for free - you usually get 2 SBs for every 2 games you play, to a maximum of 10 SBs - there's kind of a trick to it, and I explain it on my blog, if you'd like to read it - the link is in my signature below
