Hey everyone! I'm in quite a big predicament right now...Our vacuum broke, we need to get a new one like TOMORROW because we REALLY need to clean our floors...We have a cat and we need something that's really good for picking up pet and human hair, something with lots of suction power...Problem is, our budget can only go up to 200$!!
If anyone knows where in Winnipeg I can get a vacuum to fit those needs, any help would be appreciated!
Thankkk youuuus!
goin craaaazy here with the floors dirty!

We bought this one 7 months ago and I love it...it has amazing power and we have a dog as well and it picks everything up and is easy to clean. I got it at walmart for 159.00

Unfortunately this is the one we had and we only had it since May 2010...I hope the same thing doesn't happen to you...It just simply stopped working. First the hose stopped suctioning, then the brush stopped spinning, and stopped suctioning...
Thanks so much for the reply though!! =^_^=

Go shop vac. I know they're not pretty but they are crazy powerful and won't cost you more than $40.

We have 2 shop vacs and I love them. They're chunky, but they work well and they last!

Does the motor still work?If it's getting power, but there's no suction you could try to fix it/unclog it by following the instructions in the manual. You've got nothing to lose by giving it a shot, and you's be suprised how many working vacuums get thrown out b/c of simple problems or broken belts.
Online manual here in case you've lost yours:

I wish you lived closer because I have a great vacuum I've just been keeping here to give away. We bought a dyson.

Thanks for your help everyone! We ended up finding one at Canadian Tire, a little more expensive than we wanted at 250 but sooooo worth it. It's a Hoover, insanely powerful...Awesome our floors got like 2 shades lighter haha
