I got my redplum in the Herald....

just trying to figure out if it's worth getting a subscription to both/either or. They have some good promotions once in a while where you can get a subscription for pretty cheap.

Red Plum was in this morning's Herald, and if you don't already get it I wouldn't rush out to buy it. I've never seen such a pathetic bunch of coupons before!

I have a bit of a non couponing favour to ask.

does anyone happen to have 2 baby gates they're not using at the moment or are lookign to get rid of? we're getting a puppy tomorrow and Ive tried everything to find one at an alright price....and I found a few on kijiji but no one will respond to my messages.

we're more than happy to pick them up and pay for them. (we're on a tight budget but can do about 15$ a gate)

I would really appreciate it....and so will the little puppy. Its to help keep him out of trouble while we're not here.

yes I bought the Herald today and it had the insert. I have had good luck with gas station news papers i haven't tried at any of the grocery stores.

Do have some good news though!

Stopped by Sobey's (Forest Lawn) today to check for new coupons and found 2 little coupon books in the bread aisle! 1 had 2 coupons inside for 75 cents off wonder + simply and 75 cents off wonder + invisibles and another had a coupon for 75 cents off d'italiano! These are different from ones I found last week!

What are people's summer schedules like??? Anyone around maybe Wednesday or Thursday morning this week for a quick swap at Royal Oak Walmart McDonalds??

I was really disappointed and glad at the same time! I got the CT scratch from my parents on Thursday (they get the Herald) and then I got my flyers later that day and so did my neighbours. I looked in mine and I had the Redplum, but I didn't see the CT scratch. On Friday night I went to my neighbours, and took their flyers (they told me it was fine before, they like that they don't have to recycle) and got 2 CT cards but no Redplums! So I went back to my flyers and found the CT scratch.

I went to CT today and bought 4 of the Bounty with my $.50 coupon so they would be $5 each. I told the cashier that I wanted 4 different transactions unless she could do all at once. She said she couldn't. So we did one at a time and every time someone came into line I said "I am using coupons, this might take a bit, lane --- is not as busy". I actually waited until the end of the day so that I wouldn't cause a problem. Most were nice, one guy was grumbly. But, "grumbly guy? Is your time so important that you can't move over one lane and save yourself 15 minutes?". Seriously. I am trying to do you a favour.

Anyway. I ended up getting $3 Tims on all four cards I had. So I didn't get any of my paper towels for free. However!! I was buying for my brother too, so I told him that I got him 12 rolls of Bounty for $10.50 and he was happy. I then relented a bit and offered 25% of my Tim's cards off his order. He said no, he is happy to pay my OOP.

I think it was a good day.
