I found what I think is a great deal at Home depot today. 10 universal water pitcher filters (fit brita etc) for $15. That makes them $1.50 each. Compared to a 5 pack of Brita being sold 10 feet away for $22.99 making those $4.50 each. Great if you have a pitcher at home.

Good deal. Saves a lot of money compared to bottled water.

It does for sure. It states on the box that each filter can purifie 40 gallons of water. Not bad for $1.50 lol

If you are looking for them they were on a display at the front of my store as well as in a clearance display at the back.

I just tried one and it fits great in my Brita. I have not used it to see about the taste but I have used a similar universal one that PC put out and found no difference between the generic and the brita. Hope this helps.

It may filter out mercury but it definitely doesn't claim to. I wouldn't be too worried.

This must be an in-store special only. I cannot find this brand listed on their website.
