First Red Plum inserts ever!

So ever since I started reading these forums, and slowly getting into couponing, I've been hearing people say things like inserts, smart source, red plum... And I had no idea what they were back then. But now I do thanks to everyone here.

In order to increase my coupon collection, I was out with my dad and made him go into a SDM with me so I can check if our Toronto Star would have the new red plum inserts that I've been reading about this past week. And yup, I bought the paper for about $2 and got my first ever Red Plum issue!



I told my dad that even though we don't need any of these coupons, I can always trade them away to people. Therefore, all of the coupons in this issue are up for trade!

i havn't found mine yet and worse part is my condo is re-finishing the stone outside so no access. so i'm not sure how i'd get them now

Mine weren't in my weekly free paper, so I will be going through recycle bins this coming Wednesday night looking for the free press for the red plum and P&G.

if we still used the small blue recycling boxes , i might go for a walk and just pinch any i see in them.

but no, city makes everyone use these huge tall monsters, and the worst is that i would need to flip open the lids, which i wouldnt do.

its one thing to see it out in open and take it, it's another to have to open and go through

I did not receive mine this week with my city newspaper so will see if I receive it next week,plus now at restaurant it is kind of hard to ask for the inserts with theirs news politics at mcdo you paid a depot of 1$ for the newspaper when you read it,after you go to the cashier with the newspaper for rehaving your 1$same thing with coffee you have to show your receipt of the day to get it....They did that after the people taking the newspaper with them and abuse the coffee...what a world

I don't have a problem trading with a newbie. Everyone has to start somewhere. I have a bunch of the latest Redplum also if there are those that can't locate them.

I also have no problems trading with newbies I think you'll find a lot of people don't. (Unless you have negative ratings, of course), but I can see why other people don't, as I have been scammed by newbies a few times, but I've also been scammed by people with lots of positive ratings.

Not an easy task and even here, I was working outside today and DH did errands without me and the Ottawa Sun usually has them and I said pick up just 2 papers and will have in case some friends do not get and will have to send and he could not find any anywhere so I don't know if they were in stores even - maybe someone else can let me know if they found some that would be nice.

I couldn't find them in Orleans copies of Toronto Star either
