I believe it is that stupid show Extreme Couponing that is getting people so hopped up over coupons. I have been couponing since 1979 when I first got married, and believe you me, I refuse to dumpster dive for coupons or take other peoples. I HATE it when I go to the store and the ENTIRE tear pad is missing, not just a few coupons. Coupon etiquette has literally gone in the dumpster since that silly program.

wow, people are terrible..my DH can't believe that people are actually stealing coupons from people..pretty messed that it is the same area..the person who is stealing should be blacklisted on this site..I personally do not want to trade with someone who is getting their coupons in such a way

How terrible! I hope karma comes and bites that person in the butt real soon!!!! I too have extra coupons that i'd love to give you...just pm me if you're interested.
I was wondering...is there a thread on here where a person could give a description of a suspected coupon thief? For example, someone happens to witness a theft or could at least mention the place/neighbourhood where the theft has/is taking place.
A heads up is always nice!

I thought we werent supposed to be doing threads about coupon theft, but it is a serious issue that needs to be posted on these forums...otherwise I would have had no idea and would have been clueless! It hasnt happened to me yet (touch wood) but I look like a complete psycho when I go out couponing. No binders. Coupon purse...check....Methodically planned list...check...regular purse....check....pepper spray...check....
PR-24...check....
And I am soooo in for Extreme Coupon Wrestling. I have a lot of pent up anger and rage that I can direct toward shelf clearers and coupon stealers.

So this coupon has been around for a while now at this particular walmart, Why are you "the coupon owner" not protecting your coupon? Would you leave your cash like that? In the words of Boo Radley

I find it quite amusing that people would steal coupons. I bet if they just asked for coupons they would receive way more than they would need.

Ok so you guys wanted to know where this thief is striking.. mind you its not just her.. so far I have witnesses two.. the one that steals around stadium area all the way down to abbottsfield she drives a honda civiv. blue/black and the one who has been stealing flyers examiners and everything esle from Eaux Claire area is a bigger lady drives a silver van... anyhow.. Speaking of shopping with a binder, I saw someone shopping at rexall drugs store with a baby boy in the cart and her binder open.. I did approach her and tell her where to buy zest soap and did give her some baby huggies coupons.. but I mean.. honestly I was sitting at the medicentre and saw her a mile away with her big black binder... trust me its not hard to follow a person and steal.. I agree with biankavarner... plan your shopping be smart... dont drag all the coupons around.. and as for those of you who devlier the examiner and other papers.. be considerate.....just because you delvier papers does not mean you too can take the coupons away... its not nice... I agree KARMA is a BAD SOB>>> and it will come to bite back.. play fair.. everyone.. we all joined SC to help one another out.. and I'm sure that if one of us needs help we will all pitch in.. to help.. I know I would.. but play fair.. be honest and ask for coupons DONT STEAL.

I don't use a binder.
But sadly it seems those who do may have to carry a small thing to hold the coupons they are using on that shopping trip and perhaps try and hide their binder in a reusable shopping bag or something similar.
